Bruce ran into some luck

I didn't have to help.

I know that's not kind

But it's just how I felt.

I moved on to request

I wasn't sure where he was

But thought I could guess

He was trying to find CG

I thought he might

The papers a lie

He wants to fight

This was no good-bye

It didn't take him long to see

He may have an opportunity

If he could get to CG

He hadn't of course

Said something about

Being chased off by some horse

So, I knew what I had to do

I said, "Lou's looking for you."

He immediately chose to follow

I didn't have time to wallow

Buck, Shamus, Billy

too many for me

It hurt, it killed

A bottle flew past me

It smashed, it spilled.

I looked into a pair of eyes

And seen my own pain

And then she brought me back

to reality again.

"Why are you looking at me like that?"

"Wondering if you're out of ammo,

or you're still planning to combat?"

She smiled. It was only slight

But it changed her

From a woman in pain

To a beautiful sight.

She held out her hands

"Unarmed now see?"

"So long as a woman

Has a tongue she's

Never unarmed...

She knew Shamus?

I should have known.

The banter started and

I stood there alone.

At one point we were introduced

But I decided to move on and

Look in on Bruce.

If Lou was around

With Buck she would be

But instead the room

seemed to be empty.

Bruce woke up 

Finally answers at last

But no he hadn't seen them

Since before the blast.

Then as he lay there in bed

He asked about the redhead

I'd told him what I'd seen

"Wait what...Shamus been hitting...

on her... But why would she?"

"She said she loves his accent

It was hard to forget."

I dug the knife a little deeper

I'm not sure why yet.

I know I should move on

but this was wrong

Just the same old scene

Being caught in between.

"I'm going to find Lou."

Though I didn't have much hope

The jerk 

laid back with a smirk,

"You best hurry

before Buck and Lou elope."

I deserved that crack

but the truth, it hurts

I may never get Lou back.
