A few hours later, they hear Peyton crying, "I'll get her." Scott offers, standing up.

"Well, good because I can't." Scott chuckles and goes upstairs. Mitch looks at the baby monitor camera and sees Scott calming her down by gently rocking her back and forth until she stops crying. Mitch puts the monitor down and continues to watch, you guessed it, Spongebob.

Scott comes back downstairs and makes a bottle for Peyton before sitting down next to Mitch.

"Toddy?"

"Yeah, Monk?" Todrick responds from the dining room table, where he's sitting with Kevin as they work on possible treatment ideas for a patient.

"If I want Alpha to teach me to drive, how soon can I start?"

"Well, you still have your permit, yes?"

"Yes, Papa renewed it every year just in case I somehow learned."

"Okay, so you can start when your shoulder stops hurting. I say at least a week, we just have to see how your back and shoulder heal."

"Thank you." Mitch turns back to the TV and rests his head on Scott's shoulder. Once Peyton finishes her bottle, Scott puts it on the coffee table and pulls Mitch closer to him, Mitch latching onto him like a koala.

Kirstie and Avi finally come out of their room and sit on the other couch.

"Good morning, Parentals." Avi greets.

"You're older than both of us, Beard Man."

"Yeah, but I'm still not a dad. You are, Buckets."

"Oh, wow, really? Since when?"

"I don't know, maybe since October 7th at the time of..."

"8:53 AM." Mitch finishes for him.

"Don't encourage him."

Mitch laughs, "Why can't I encourage him but I can encourage you?"

"Maybe because I'm your fiancé."

"Solid point." He turns to Avi, "Sorry, my Alpha wins."

"Ouch, I thought we bonded, Smalls."

"I've bonded with him more, though."

"Damn it. Fine, I'll give it to you this time, Buckets."

"Wow, thanks."

Before Avi gets to respond, Mitch's phone rings.

"Hello?" He stands up and goes into the kitchen.

"Kissy boy?"

"Hi, Mom."

"Oh thank the lord you're okay. Scott told me you were home but we weren't able to speak long enough for him to update me on anything."

"I'm okay, sore, but okay. But guess what!"

"What?"

"Wait, get Papa, too." He hears his mom call for Mike and put the phone on speaker.

"What is it?"

"Alpha proposed to me!"

"Congratulations!" They say in unison.

"Thank you."

"When's the wedding?"

Mitch laughs, "He didn't propose that long ago, we haven't started planning yet."
