"All that time, he was suffering so much?" Mike leans on the counter and puts his head in his hands.

"Yeah. He's been here for over a month now." Scott informs him.

"If you don't mind me asking.. how did you find him?"

"I found Carson beating him in a dark alley. He almost died, he was so weak and injured. I knocked Carson out and got Mitch and Todrick before coming here."

"Thank you, Scott. But if you ever hurt that boy—"

"If I ever hurt Mitch, not only do I give you permission, but I also encourage you to hurt me." Scott cuts him off.

Meanwhile..

"So, Kissyboy, tell me about Scott." Mitch immediately smiles at the thought of his Alpha.

"He's amazing, Mommy. He's so patient with me and he lets me eat and sleep! In a bed, too! And when I get nightmares, he usually wakes me up and if I can't calm down, he stays awake with me so I feel safe. He took me to the beach! It was so pretty and I got to play in the sand and the water. Did you know that the cause of waves aren't because the ocean is mad? And that they never turn off? Alpha told me that, so not only is he good looking and kind, but he's smart, too."

"That's great, sweetie. What else do you like about him?"

"I like that he's over six feet tall and super strong. Oh and we always get along. If I had to synthesize a picture perfect guy, it would be him." Mitch looks up when he hears Scott's voice.

"Aww, thank you, baby boy." Mitch blushes and looks at his hands. Scott kneels down in front of Mitch (not like that, ya nasty) so he would make eye contact with him, smiling once he does.

"Don't be embarrassed, Sunshine. I think it's cute, honestly. Wanna hear a secret?"

"Yes, sir." Mitch eagerly nods. Scott motions for him to lean down a little.

"I feel the same way, gorgeous." He whispers into Mitch's ear. Mitch smiles and looks at him again, pecking him on the lips.

"Thank you, Alpha." Scott sits back down next to his Omega. He starts to lean in for a kiss before moving his head to Mitch's neck and blowing a raspberry, earning a squeal from the smaller boy. He starts to tickle Mitch's sides until Mitch's face is red from laughing so much. He then sits like a normal person and gently grabs Mitch to pull him onto his lap, the brunette doing so and immediately curling up against him.

"That was adorable." Nel comments.

"That's because you have an adorable son."

"He really is, isn't he?"

"Alphaaaaa." Mitch whines, covering Scott's mouth. "No more." He playfully pouts and uncovers the Alpha's mouth.

"Oh put that lip away." Scott tells him, poking the lip Mitch was sticking out.

"Will you feel this shirt?" Scott gives Mitch a confused look at the request and does so.

"It's boyfriend material." They stare at each other for a few seconds before bursting out into laughter. Todrick walks into the room, looking worried, which immediately quiets them.

"Toddy? What's wrong?" Mitch walks over to him, grabbing his hand.

"Monkey, why don't you go see Alpha Avi and Kirstie?" Todrick suggested. Mitch hesitantly nodded and walked down the hall to the couple's room.

"Alpha, we have a problem." Todrick rushes out to Scott as soon as Mitch is out of earshot.

"Why? What happened?" Scott sat up straighter.

"Carson called the house.. he said he'll call back in five minutes and if it's not you on the phone, he will show up in person." Todrick explains.

"Damnit—Sorry. Okay, how long ago did he call?"

"Exactly four minutes ago, sir."

"And you're sure it was that long?"

"Yes, sir. Four minutes and seven seconds now."

"Of course you know that. Where's the phone?" Todrick hands Scott the phone and they wait for the call.

"Scott, care to inform us on what's happening?" Mike asks, raising an eyebrow.

"Well, Carson wasn't very happy when I took Mitch, especially since I had to knock him unconscious in order for it to happen. I'm assuming he's calling because he wants to threaten or negotiate with me until I give Mitch back."

"But you would never, right?" Scott opens his mouth to answer but the phone rings, making all of them freeze with wide eyes. Scott clears his throat and answers.

"Hello?"

"Scott Hoying?"

"Yes, that's me."

"Well, Scott, I believe you have something that's mine. So, I'm calling you to get it back."

"What exactly are we talking about here?"

"The Omega, dumbass!"

"Alpha?" Scott's head shoots up when he hears a small voice. He tries to play everything off like it's fine, but Mitch sees right through it.

"Please hold." He puts the phone on mute and turns his attention to Mitch.

"Who's that, sir? Everyone is acting weird and no one will tell me why. And please don't lie to me, you know I'll figure it out."

Scott sighs and runs a hand over his face, "Okay, Carson called the house to try to get you back." Mitch's eyes tear up and he hugs Scott, clinging to him like his life depends on it. Scott wraps one arm around his shoulders tightly and takes himself off of mute.

"You want Mitch back?"

"I'll make you a deal. You give me the Omega, you keep the Beta, and I'll throw in $30,000." Tears start to escape Mitch's eyes as he holds onto Scott tighter, burying his face in the blonde's chest.

"No. You don't have the right to care for him anymore. He's my Omega now and you're just going to have to deal with it."

"It can hear me, can't it?"

"No. Why do you think that?" Scott knows Mitch can hear him, but he doesn't want Carson to know.

"I've heard about you, Hoying. Strongest Alpha known to man. Also, the Alpha that would have cursed me out and made multiple threats to me for trying to take away someone he loves. Unless, the thing can hear us."

"What? Mitch being here wouldn't stop me from doing any of that."

"I don't believe you. I think the reason is because it sees you as a protector. It feels safe with you, and if you ever did something that would scare it, you would lose that trust. Let me speak to the Omega."

"No, what the hell?"

"I guess I could just come over there and talk to him in person." Mitch panics and grabs the phone from Scott.

"Yes, sir?"

"Mitchell, we have lots to talk about."
