Chapter 18- Uncomfortable Atmosphere

Start from the beginning

Just by seeing the tears on his boyfriend made Stan feel horrible.

"I promise I'll come back tomorrow. I love you." Stan's hand grazed over one of Kyle's pale red cheeks. The color was caused from the slight crying Kyle was beginning to do.

"No Stan don't go!" Kyle held onto him with a firm grip and began to cry into his shoulder.

Stan held onto him as well with compassion. He felt sorrowful for having to leave his boyfriend here.

Kyle wasn't comfortable in this place.

People around him screamed and stuttered and talked nonstop about random things. It was different for Kyle since he wasn't ever around people like that.

"Mr. Broflovski you have to let go." A security guard who had to restrain Kyle yesterday in his room came up to him and Stan. Kyle said that he wanted to see Stan and kept trying to leave the room.

That's why he had to be restrained by the security guard. He remembered his name, Hunter.

"I'll see you tomorrow, okay? I'll be here the second visiting hours start." Stan promised with a kiss on Kyle's cheek.

Kyle watched him leave the facility. His crying was still visible for people to see.

He didn't care what he looked like, all he wanted to do was leave and never come back to this torturous place.

They hadn't hurt Kyle, from what he had remembered.

It sucked that visiting hours didn't last long. They were very short in Kyle's mind and to the rest of the patients surrounding him.

It wasn't a 24/7 type of thing. There was rules to follow and Kyle was forced to follow them.

The people at the institution wanted all the patients to follow the rules and turn them into a habit.

If the patients wanted to go outside and walk around, they had to be watched by a security guard and go with a visitor.

It wasn't one way or the other, it was one way and that was final. So many people tried escaping the facility every day.

Kyle hadn't gotten any sleep that night since he couldn't stop thinking about his diagnosis. Schizophrenia. Psychosis. This isn't me, he thought.

But...now it is me. Will the medication even help? I just want to get out of here. Someone needs to come save me.

No, nobody needs to come save you. Man, when will you learn? When will you fucking learn that you are a virus? Your parents aren't really the virus, you've just convinced yourself that they are. Stan has been keeping his secret that he hates having to drive you around and has to make sure you're okay all the damn time. Remember what we talked about? Don't go back to him when you get out of this place. Let him live a life that is better than the one you're trying to give him happiness in. All you're doing is screwing up his future plans. Get some sleep, crazy.

"AAAAHHH! LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE!" Kyle shouted at the top of his lungs.

The patients he shared a room with screamed too, they just didn't scream words like the redhead had done.

Nobody came in to check if Kyle or his roommates were alright. It was a common thing in this place.

Lots of people would scream at night, at day. It was a very regular thing.

The monster hadn't ever left. He was still haunting Kyle.

He wanted it gone. He wanted it dead, out of him forever.
