He sat in the detention room by himself after finishing off in the bathroom. He was so close and then Vulkner had to walk in at the worst time. He wouldn't have been as annoyed if he walked in a few minutes earlier, but no. He sat in the same chair with his arms and legs crossed and his head against the wall, wondering what Vulkner did with Sam. Although he hardly even knew her, Michael felt bad getting her into more trouble. After all, she was just the new kid - an easy one at that. He thought back to how she promised to make up the whole submissive thing and he couldn't help but imagine everything he could do to her. Did Michael actually like Sam? Besides being a huge slut, she was exactly like him, so no, he didn't like her that that. She was a cool girl and everything, but he'd never want to date someone like himself. Michael wasn't good for anyone; he knew that for a fact, and had been told on multiple occasions.

The door opened and Ashton walked in by himself. He sat down at the table next to Michael's and nodded at him as he pulled out his drumsticks from his back pocket. Michael has never actually heard Ashton say anything until yesterday but it looked like he was back to being mute. Michael was surprised Ashton was even talking to Sam today and that she would get detention for him. Well, she was also going to try to get his dick, so he wasn't that surprised. But then he saw Ashton wandering around with Barbie today and couldn't help but wonder why she was hanging out with him. She was talkative and pretty and annoying while Ashton was boring and silent and a nobody.

"Did she do it?" Ashton wondered quietly. His eyes wouldn't meet Michael's as he looked at the quiet boy quizzically, wondering if he actually did say anything. "Did she get detention?"

A smirk crept up on Michael's face as he thought about Sam's pretty little mouth wrapped around him. "Oh yeah, she did. You're a lucky boy, Irwin."

Ashton glanced at Michael with furrowed eyebrows, but quickly dropped his gaze again, not bothering to ask what she had done to actually get detention or why he was apparently lucky. Instead, he decided to ask if Michael was still going to pizza tonight.

"Lottie's really hoping you'll go tonight." Ashton informed him.

Michael looked to Ashton with a confused and slightly disgusted look on his face. "Who?"

"The blonde girl." Ashton told him.

Michael nodded. "Right. Barbie. Why would she want me there? We're complete opposites anyway."

Ashton just shrugged and began talking quickly. "She just said she hopes to see you and Calum there and I said 'Michael probably won't go' and she asked why and I said 'It doesn't seem like his crowd' and she said 'Well I'd be very happy if he showed up' and yeah."

Michael got a weird feeling in his stomach. Someone actually wanted to see him besides Calum; someone was hoping to hang out with him. That was something that hadn't happened in a while. For the longest time, his only friend had been Calum and his only family was Calum. It was weird hearing that someone was going to be "very happy" to see him.

"Oh." was all Michael said before the two boys went back to silence.

Alone in detention; detention two days in a row. I didn't know which of those was worse. Either way, I'd be greeted at home by yelling and possibly a grounding. Although, my moms should remember that grounding me had never stopped me before. But if I was grounded, I at least wouldn't have to tell everyone the sappy shit I wrote in my essay. Why would I write that anyway? I was so lame.
