"And this is the swords arena." Percy said as he walked ahead of you.
You watched as a blonde boy stared at you with a smirk, causing you to shiver.
You followed Percy into the arena, and he told you to pick a weapon.
You were holding up a sword, and suddenly jumped when someone started talking.
"You new here?" You turned around as you faced the blonde boy.
"Uhm, yeah." You said as you tilted your chin slightly up, realizing the boy was quite tall.
"I'm Luke. Son of Hermes. How about you?" He asked.
"(Y/n), and I don't know who my mother is." You stated.
"Guess we'll find out soon." He said as he walked off.
"So you met Luke? He doesn't really talk to much people besides his little group plus the seven. I was surprised when I saw him walk over to you." Percy said as he eyed the sword you picked out.
"Yeah, I did." You replied.
"Nice sword, very light so it's easy to carry." He said.
You nodded your head as you looked over at Luke.

"Hey I'm Leo, you're (y/n) right, the new girl?" He stated.
"Yeah, I am." You smiled at the elf looking boy.
"I'm Leo, son of Hephaestus." He said.
"I'm Jason, son of Jupiter." The boy with the scar above his lip, said.
"I'm Piper, daughter of Aphrodite." The pretty one smiled.
After they all introduced themselves, you explained how you weren't claimed yet.
"Woah." You looked up to see something glowing.
"Demeter." Travis said as he beamed. "Katie is going to love you."
"Well, we should get to the dining pavilion. I'll introduce you to Katie." Travis said as he got up.
You followed him and met Katie.
She was super sweet, and the second you saw the way Travis and Katie talked to each other, you knew they were together.
"You guys are dating right?" You smiled.
They both blushed and looked down.
You laughed at their red faces.
"Aww, you guys are adorable." You said.

"He's been staring at you this whole time." Katie nudged you.
"Who?" You asked, although you already knew who.
"Luke." She replied.
"He must have zoned off on my face or something." You stated.
"No, he's staring at you. And I think his friends have noticed too."
You looked over at him, seeing his friends tease him about something.
He kept his gaze on you.
You looked away, your face turning pink.
"Hold on, has he talked to you?" She asked.
You nodded.
"Earlier today at the arena."
