Chapter 14- Final Solution

Start from the beginning

Dr. Rytec was already becoming very aware that the redheaded teenager she was sitting across from needed help.

He should've gotten into therapy a long time ago.

Not many people knew how many bizarre things Kyle had done in the past few weeks.

"I-I'm not really sure." Kyle bowed his head to the ground.

Dr. Rytec glanced at Kyle's boyfriend for a split second.

She felt she'd be able to get more details out of Stan about this situation than Kyle, something gave her the hint.

"Kyle if you don't mind waiting out in the waiting room for a few minutes, I'd like to talk with Stan about this. Just to hear what he has to say." Dr. Rytec said.

"Uh, okay." Kyle stood up from the couch. Stan stood up with him and grabbed both his hands, "Don't leave, okay? Please?"

"I won't." Kyle said.

Kyle opened the door and headed to the waiting room.

He sat there, patient, quiet, on his phone.

Stan mentioned everything that Kyle had done.

The pushing away, the pulling back in, the crying, the hidden feelings, the words he said, the actions he did.

All of it was finally out in the open with someone who could genuinely help Kyle.

Stan went into full detail about everything that happened.

Dr. Rytec was almost speechless when Stan terminated his talking.

"There's something more than just him being upset and stubborn. I can't figure out what it is." Stan said.

"This sounds like he might need to be hospitalized." Dr. Rytec admitted.

Hospitalized. Stan tried keeping his confusion under weigh but it kept pushing over the limit,

"What kind of hospital? Like a mental institution?"

"This isn't normal depression or anxiety, Stan. This could be very helpful for him." Dr. Rytec told the black haired teen.

Stan knew Kyle would have another brutal breakdown if he told him what Dr. Rytec just admitted.

"There's a place about an hour and a half away from here. I've sent a few of my patients there. A few of Kyle's actions are a bit similar to the ones they did." Dr. Rytec explained, trying to provide the help she thought would be good for Kyle.

"Dr. Rytec, he will not go. We'd have to force him to and restrain him. He will freak out." Stan told her.

That was the truth; Kyle would freak out if he heard this was going to happen or might happen. There was no final decision made yet.

No way in hell would Kyle agree to going.

He'd hate being away from Stan, even if it was only for a few days.

He wouldn't be able to stay happy.

Stan was the one that that could cause him feel better about everything he had to cope with; his depression, anxiety, and whatever else this mysterious issue was.

It was a problem that seemed to have a limited number of solutions; there maybe wasn't even more than one type of solution.

"Once Kyle stays there for awhile, they'll most likely prescribe some kind of medicine for him." Dr. Rytec was writing something down on her notepad that she had picked back up.
