These people had to have been connected to Haru's brother, Shinji somehow. Haru herself has only ever been to kumogakure once before, but Shinji was born there. The Oshiro clan when in its prime reigned in the land of lightning.

Shinji knew that place inside and out, so it would be safe to say that whoever the mysterious 'acquaintance' is, is related to Shinji. Sasuke wouldn't dare bring any of that up though, he was being specifically careful with Haru.

He didn't want to make things worse with her, but he didn't really know how to make things better either. He could only watch her as she confidently led their group to the mini village, eyeing all of the physical changes.

Her hair, was the first thing that caught his attention. Her pin straight hair was once long enough to reach her mid thighs, but now it only cascades down to her collar bones. Granted, it's not very short, but for someone like Haru its a drastic difference.

Lost in his own thoughts, he doesn't notice the appearance of a mini village only a few steps away. Haru stops randomly before reaching he gates of said village, then turns to the group stoically.

"The people who we are going to for shelter know that we are apart of the akatsuki. So don't worry about that. And please, don't ask too many questions." She warns. Karin narrows her eyes at Haru before defensively putting her hands on her hips.

"Why can't we just stay at the inn? And who are you to tell me what I ask and don't ask? You aren't the leader of this team, Sasuke is." She claims.

A forced smile makes its way onto the Senju's face. Before she could smartly reply to Karin's words, she's interrupted by a new voice calling out her name. "Haru you've returned!" A shorter girl around the same age of Haru exclaims.

Team Taka's eyes all zero in on the non-ninja who runs over to Haru and wraps her much frailer arms around her. Haru sighs, seeing the confusion on the face of team taka as she hugs the villager back.

"Everyone this is Yuki, she'll be letting us stay at the inn her father owns." Haru claims as the shorter teen let's her go. Yuki nods as she takes a look over the group of ninja. "Wow so many ninja! You've never brought many! Where's Shinji though?" She exclaims.

Haru visibly tenses up and her sharp eyes pierce through Yuki's innocent ones. "We'll talk about him later, not in front of them." She commands, authority seeping through her tone.

Taken aback, Yuki hesitantly nods and turns back to the team of confused ninja. "Ah alright well I'll lead the way then!" She says with a kind smile. Haru nods then sends the team a look "Lets go."

••Haru's POV••

When we arrive at the inn, I worriedly glance outside one of the windows. I tap my foot impatiently when I see that the sun has gone down, and the moon has risen. Dammit, I barely have time!

I watch Yuki make her way around the front desk to hand us our room keys and my eye twitches in frustration. Bless her heart, but can she hurry the hell up?! "So Sasuke what do you say? You and I could room together while they take the other room!" Karin suggests flirtatiously.

She looks over at me, waiting for any sort of angry response but is pleased when she finds me impatiently leaning over the front desk. Karin smirks "Seems like we don't have any objections! Sasuke and I together it is."
