The Perfect Dress

Every year we always rotate on who hosts the Christmas feast. This year it was our turn. Christmas at the Malfoys you can say. When we got to the house Winky took our bags and sent them to the rooms. I took mine by hand cause I wanted to go to my room anyways.

"So this is your room." Luke says as he walks in.

"I know it doesn't look like an actual normal girls room." I said. My room was a light grey with the majority of it covered with posters and books. I had a black queen sized bed with hunter green pillows.

"I was suspected to be in Slytherin."

"I can see that." He said and we started laughing.

"Where's Albus?"

"Eavesdropping on you guys!" He says as he walks in.

"Oh well I was gonna head down and give you guys a tour if you want."

"Yeah sure, I'll be down in a sec." Luke said.

"Ok." And I left the room with the girls.

*Lukes POV*

"Hey Albus can I ask you for your opinion on something?"

"Sure man what is it?"

I pulled out a small box out of my pocket to reveal a thin silver ring with a green emerald. "It's Madison's Christmas gift."

"Oh my god it's beautiful Luke."

"I saw it on a display at a jewelry store and I thought it would match her eyes."

"It does."

"Do you think she'll like it?"

"I think she'll love it. You have my approval to give it to her."

"Thanks." And then we went downstairs to meet up with everyone.

Madison took us on a tour of her house and let me tell you that her place is HUGE! She's got the best kitchen ever and she even has a ballroom where we're gonna have Christmas. We all get our own rooms to stay in it's gonna be so much fun. But the best part of the house was her favorite room: The Malfoy Library. They have to own about one copy of every single book ever made because of how big her library was. I was in complete shock!

When everyone left she called me behind.

"Is everything alright?" I asked her.

"Yeah. I just wanted to show you something." Then she moved some books on a shelf to the side and pushed a secret button with her wand.

"It only works with my wand. My parents have no idea about this." The shelf of books started to spin.

"Quick! It won't stay you have to run through it so jump!" And so we jumped through the door. We walked into what looked like a small room with a bunch of flowers and things painted on the walls. There were some comfortable chairs and a small table. It also had a small fireplace and a blue rug under the purple couch.

"This is my secret girly side that no one knows and will never find out about." She says giving me a look.

"Ok." I said. "It's nice." Then she smiled which made me blush.

"I'm so glad you fell for me Malfoy." That sentence alone made her blush and I started to laugh.

"And as do I." She said grabbing my hand.

"So how do you get out of here now?" I said.

"Through this door." I said pointing to a door in the corner. "It leads to the kitchen."

"Smart."

"I know!" And I opened the door and then we were gone.

*now back to Madison's POV*

When I opened the secret door in the kitchen, we had to quickly sneak out cause Mrs.Weasley was in there checking on the food. She almost saw us but we got out pretty quick.

"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN??!!" Albus screamed.

"In the library! Where have you been??!!" I screamed back. It was funny.

"Your mom has been looking for you."

"oH! Well gotta go!" And I ran to find my mother. She was in my room with Luna and Ginny and Rose and Emily and Ariana and all the girls.

"What's going on in here?" I said walking in.

"Oh we were just setting up the room into sections." Ginny said.

"Sections?" I said in cOnFuSiOn.

"Well the girls told us all about last night and how you guys got ready for the ball quickly so we're gonna do the same thing." My mom said.

"oH! Ok that's fine."

"So girls go to shower and we'll get everything ready." Luna said.

"Ok." We all said and left to shower. Well except for me. I went to my mom.

"Hey mom you were looking for me?"

"Yeah I was."

"Was it about my thing from the letter? Have you got it?"

"Yes I do!"

"Can I borrow it please?"

"Yes you can! But be careful!"

"I will thanks mom!!"

"You're welcome! You're gonna look so beautiful in my Yule Ball dress!"

"Luke's gonna be left with his mouth wide open!" I said and I went to go shower. He's gonna love it. I'm gonna love it. I've been waiting for the opportunity to wear that dress for as long as I can remember and tonight is my chance. It's the perfect night. The perfect guy. The perfect dress. Everything's gonna be perfect.
