Chapter thirteen ~ Take A Break

*Pippas POV*

I woke up in Lins arms, the sun streaming through his windows. I groaned softly picking my head to see Lin was already up.

"What time is it? We should be getting to work." I said trying to get up but Lin stops me by pulling me back down into his arms.

"Don't worry, I called in were not going to work today." He told me kissing the top of my head.

"But-"

"Pippa we both need a break." He whispered. "We need to take a break."

"I thought Eliza was supposed to say that not Alexander." I said looking up at him.

"Well it's a good thing I'm not actually Alexander Hamilton." He said causing me to let out a small giggle.

"True, your much smarter than him anyways." I told him.

"No I'm not Pip."

"Well I think you are." I told him kissing his cheek.

"Okay Pippa, if you say so." He said with a chuckle.

"I do." I whispered pressing a kiss to his lips.

"Well I was thinking, lazy day." He started and I nodded in agreement. "Then I have a special night planned."

"Lin you don't have to." I told him.

"I know that, but I want to." He said. "Plus I was a complete jerk to you and I want to make it up to you."

"Lin you don't have to make anything up to me." I sighed softly. "As long as your here."

"Guess what I'm having delivered." He said changing the subject.

"What?" I ask going along with it.

"Think." He told me. "What's your favourite pancake place?" He asked and I gasped a bit.

"Seriously Lin? But they're kind of expensive.." I said.

"They're not too bad, plus their pancakes make you happy and if you're happy, I'm happy." He sake kissing my forehead.

"Thank you Lin."

"No problem Pip." He said with a smile. "So the food should be here soon, plus I've got Pete's Dragon all qued up."

"But I thought you don't have that movie."

"I don't I got your keys from your pocket, got it from your apartment." He told me. "And while I was there I also picked up that movie, To Wong Foo something, something, something."

"To Wong Foo Thanks For Everything, Julie Newman?" I asked smiling as I asked. 

"Yeah that one." He said with a small nod.

"You actually going to watch that movie with me finally? I didn't think you would, Its about drag queens you know that?"

"I have nothing against drag queens Pippa."

"Well I know that I just didn't think it'd be your cup of tea."

"Well Patrick Swayze and Wesley Snipes are in it so it has to be good." He said with a smile.
