Chapter 10- All Was Calm Until

Start from the beginning

Whether Kyle was in a deep state of dark depression or when he felt like shouting out how happy he was.

Stan always had his back. He was there to make him laugh and get him to show his beautiful smile.

Jimbo told Stan he'd help out on any way he could. He offered to drive to the appointment even though Stan had a car and do what he could to make this at least a tad bit easier on both his nephew and his nephew's boyfriend.

It might take awhile to figure out what exactly was going on with Kyle. Stan was willing to make the effort to wait if he had to.

Stan went back into the bedroom and laid down next to Kyle. He wasn't upset, or angry or shaking with fear. None of that. It was a relief to see him sleeping soundly.

Stan didn't want to wake him. Kyle needed time to fall back into the state of relaxation. It was only 4:45 in the afternoon, close to evening almost.

Offering to make dinner gave Jimbo some time to go catch up with his friends at Skeeter's bar down the road. Stan cooked the steak Jimbo was going to cook and made loaded mashed potatoes on the side.

Kyle woke up on his own at about 6:00. He noticed Stan in the kitchen and came up behind him, wrapping his arms around Stan's muscular body, "Jimbo here?" "He went to Skeeter's, he said he'll back later." Stan spun around.

"Good." Kyle smirked. "What do you mean good?" Stan laughed, he knew exactly what the redhead meant. He was finally in the mood. Kyle was never really in the mood anymore.

It wasn't obvious why, but Stan sort of understood. "You know what I mean." Kyle helped put the steak on the two plates Stan had set out on the table.

Kyle and Stan talked about a few assignments that were due soon. "Did you see Mrs. Lantarse's face when we showed up that one day?" Kyle laughed.

"She acted more calm than she actually was." Stan said while cutting a piece off his steak. Jimbo hadn't returned home once Stan and Kyle finished dinner.

"Wanna watch a movie?" Stan asked as he sat on the couch. "I guess." Kyle went through a few TV channels and finally found a comedy him and Stan liked.

"We haven't seen this in forever." Stan stated, pushing his hands into his sweatshirt pockets. "Mhm." Kyle hummed and leaned over closer to Stan.

Stan looked over just in time to notice Kyle's lips heading for his own. Their eyes closed simultaneously.

Stan reached his hand up and cupped just under Kyle's jawline, his thumb brushed against one of Kyle's flushed cheeks. It was only them.

They were kissing like nobody was on this planet but the two of them. In their own minds it was only them.

2 individuals who had unexpectedly fallen into strong but deep love.

Stan had been showing his promise. Without a proposal, he was still taking Kyle as his in sickness and in health.

He wouldn't even leave Kyle when death parted them.

Death couldn't even tear these two apart, the impossibility stood live.

Any type of contact Stan or Kyle could get from each other was taken with admiration, never for granted. This relationship was too valuable to be crushed by anything dramatic.

At certain moments when life threw giant rushes of fear and pain, they fought it with everything they had, together.

Kyle had been feeling like the worst boyfriend ever. The outbursts weren't exactly his fault. Every waking, breathing moment he prayed they'd just disperse from him.

Get out, get out, Kyle would hardly speak above a whisper when he said this to himself. The ability to imagine what it'd be like to not have this demon living inside him comfortably rushed into the reality of extinction.

When Kyle was screaming at Stan to leave and break up with him back at the lake, he didn't actually want him to.

He just knew it would make a whole hell of a lot less drama for Stan. Nobody could tell Stan he didn't love Kyle.

He loved him with everything he was able to give off feeling with.

There was something about the boy Stan that blinded him from wanting to break it off. He was so madly in love he couldn't bring himself to need to leave Kyle all by himself.

Kyle was who he was and Stan was who he was. They had differences and compares in between both of their personalities. What two people are the literal exact same?

It's impossible to see two people who are the exact same.

This includes looks, personality, likes and dislikes, etc.

Kyle's heart was never driven away from Stan's and vice versa. Nothing seemed to make life feel worth living without each other.

Stan saw no point in being happy without his best friend.

Kyle inched away to look into those two ice blue gems of eyes his boyfriend possessed, "You know I wouldn't purposely try to hurt you, right?" Stan shook his head the revealed his response.

The first doctor's appointment would hopefully open up a few doors to conclusions of what would go on from this point. Stan figured that Dr. Becker would recommend some therapist.

A therapist's opinion and point of view on Kyle's actions might pull out a more informative explanation.

According to Kyle, Dr. Becker was always able to understand him.

One time back when Kyle was 13, he had the crazy idea he was gaining weight. Dr. Becker talked him through the anxiety of it, it wasn't her job but being a good person isn't ever a bad gesture.

Jimbo returned back home from the bar around 9:00 at night. The sky had already   been shaded in with the average pitch black tint.

"Dinner is on the stove." Stan pointed a finger over to the kitchen. Him and Kyle were sitting close to each other on the couch.

No cuddling, just watching another movie. The sound of the movie flashed into a faint hearing of white noise.

Pounding on the door echoed through the ears of Stan, Kyle, and Jimbo. Jimbo opened up the door, only to see Sharon Marsh staring into his living room at her son and his boyfriend.
