Maggie's POV
I grab my things and make my way to Arias house.
I continue walking until I finally reach her house.
I open her door and make my in, since her house is basically my second home.
"Tater tots outside" aria says as I put my bag down on the floor
"Thanks again" I say with a small smile
"It's okay" she says pulling me in for a hug
"I just wish she would understand" I say in a small voice
"Things will get better"
"I know they will but I just don't know when" I reply

"Okay that's it Maggie, I know your going through a lot right now. But I'm not gunna watch my best friend be sad, get up we are going to the beach" aria says
"But i do-"
"Nope your going wether you like it or not, you know I'm gunna force you either way so don't fight it"
"Okay" I say knowing what she said was true
I change into denim shorts and a white shirt with "L O S T" over the front I'm black letters
"You ready?"
"Yeah just let me get tater tot" I say and grab his leash and put it in him
"Okay let's go" I say and we walk to the beach which was only 10 minutes away from her house.
We arrive at the beach and set down the blanket
"So I brought you here to get your mind off things" she says
"Have you met any cute guys"
"Eh not really" I reply
"What about you" I ask her
"No one sadly" she says and my phone rings
I check my notification and see it's a message from jack asking if we could meet up tomorrow
"Who was it?" Aria asks me
"A guy I met today"
"And why didn't you tell me?!" She says
"I'm supposed to tell you when I meet someone?" I question
"YES" she says and we both laugh
"Is he cute?"
"Eh" I reply
"How'd you guys meet" she asks
"Tater tot actually" I say laughing back at this morning
"He ran up to him and we met, he was actually a jerk at first" I say
"Oh wow tater tot knows you need a boyfriend" she says giggling
"Hey I'm happy single" I say defensively with a smile
"Okay well any ways what's his name?"
"Jack" I reply
"What'd he text you for?" She says
"He wants to meet up tomorrow and before you say anything AS FRIENDS" I sorta yell the last part
"That's what everyone says" she says and I laugh
"Watch in about 3 months you guys are gunna be dating" she says
"Doubt it"
"Okay well anyways let's go in the water!" She says
"It rained yesterday the water is gunna be freezing" I say
"True, wanna go get a smoothie?" She asks
"Sure"
We walk to the smoothie place not to far from the beach and order.
Then I see jack sitting there on his phone while drinking his smoothie with a little girl.
He says we and walks up to me
"Are you following me?" He says jokingly with a smile
"Haha you wish Avery" I reply and the little girl runs up next to jack
"Maggie this is Isla my little sister, Isla this is Maggie" he says
"Hi" she says shyly
"Hello" I say with a smile and she smiles back
"Well I should get going my friends waiting for me" I say
"Okay well see you tomorrow?" He questions
"Oh yeah sorry I forgot to answer your message, where do you wanna meet up?" I ask and mentally smack my forehead for forgetting to answer his message
"The cafe at 9" he replies
"Okay bye"
"Bye" He says and I return to aria who already found a table for us
"So that was jack" she says with a sly smile on her face
"Yes" I reply
"You said he wasn't cute"
"He's alright" I reply
"Okay you seriously need to go to the eye doctor" she says
"Two orders for Aria" the man says
"You ordered for me?"
"Duh" She says and gets up to get our drinks
"Strawberries and peaches just how you like it" she says setting it down in front of me
"Wait you actually knew" I say shocked
"What type of friend would I be if I didn't" she says and drinks her smoothie.
We finish our drinks and head to her house
"Thank you so much for letting me stay here" I say to her
"No problem" she says
"Tater tot seems to be enjoying the treats you gave him" she says and I look down to see him munching on a bone
"He deserves it, he's the best dog anyone could have"
"Well anyways wanna watch Netflix" she suggests
"Sure"
We spent the rest of the day watching Teen Wolf until it was 1 in the morning so we decided to sleep.
