CHAPTER 33

She raised an eyebrow. "Hindi ako titigil hangga't hindi ka makikipagtulungan sa annulment!" She exclaimed.

"Annulment? What annulment?" Sabay silang napatingin sa may pinto. It was Anika and the Big4. Natigilan sila at nagpalitan ng tingin. "Brother, what is this all about? Anong annulment?" His sister asked skeptically.

They are all waiting for an answer but Kirsten just stared at them blanky. "Dude, anong meron?" Marco.

Edward cleared his throat. "Why are you here? Nagbilin ako kay Noreen na ayaw kong maistorbo."

"As if my magagawa si Noreen." Anika. "Enough with the delays Edward, answer us, what is going on here?"

"Minsan talaga hindi nyo alam ang word na privacy noh?" He said sarcastically. "Can you all please get out? May importante kaming pinauusapan kaya pwede ba? Leave us alone." He stated firmly.

"We will leave, but not until you tell us what's going on." Anika said resolutely.

Edward clenched his fist, wala sya sa mood makipag-argue sa kapatid nya ngayon. Before he could utter a word, Kirsten went near his sister. "Ma'am Anika, Edward have found out that he and I were married, that I'm Kirsten, and now I'm asking him to cooperate with the Annulment process."

"Wat...wait—you, you're Kirsten?" Di makapaniwalang tanong nito kaya hindi rin nya napansin ang sinabi ng dalagang 'annulment process'.

"Ye...yes?"

"Oh my God! Is-Is that really you?" Gulat pa ring tugon nito sabay yakap ng mahigpit sa dalaga.

"Y-yes. I...I don't know really, I can't remember anything." She answered when they parted.

"So eversince, tama pala kami ng hinala na ikaw yan. Gosh! I super duper missed you sis!" Anika uttered excitedly and hugged tight again.

"Group hug!" Saad ni Marco saka sila yumakap sa dalawa.

"I...I c-can't breathe..." Kirsten said as she try to let go of the hug.

"I'm so sorry sissy, we just got carried away." She stated apogetically.

"Enough of that Anika! Now you know the truth, can you all please leave us alone?" Edward.

"Why are so cranky? At bakit ba kanina mo pa kami pinapaalis?" Christian.

"Dahil hindi naman nagpunta dito si Kirsten para makipagkwentuhan, she's here because she wants an Annulment! Happy now?!" He said furiously and stormed out of the room.

Sumunod naman sa kanya si Kirsten. Natahimik sina Anika dahil sa sinabi ni Edward. Bigla silang nalungkot para sa kapatid at kaibigan nila na hanggang ngayon, minamahal pa rin ng sobra ang dalaga.

Dahil sa bilis maglakad ng binata, hindi na nya ito naabutan. She went home disappointedly. Pero nabigo man sya sa araw na yun, desidido pa rin syang puntahan ulit ito hanggang sa mapapayag nya itong makipagtulungan sa kanya.

The next day, nagpunta ulit sya sa opisina ng binata ngunit ang sabi ng gwardya, hindi daw ito pumasok. Sa sumunod na araw, bumalik ulit sya ngunit wala pa rin ang binata. On the third day, wala pa rin sya, however, because she was desperate to talk to him, naglakas loob syang tanungin si Noreen about his whereabouts. At dahil convincing ang arte nya, sinabi nito sa kanya ang kinaroroonan at schedule ng binata.

She didn't waste time because according to his secretary, he's currently in Tagaytay, in a restaurant that he owns.

It's already 7pm when she arrives in the restaurant. 'K's cuisine' ang pangalan ng restaurant na yun. She looked at her watch, nagtataka sya kung bakit mukhang walang tao gayong maaga pa naman.
