Prologue

The name is Jacob. Jacob Perez to be exact.

I could sit here and tell you my entire life story, but let's cut to the chase.

You, as the reader, and everybody else are apart of my little game. See, I'm not normal. I'm insane. Delusional. Psycho. Crazy. Crazy enough to kill a person. But, don't worry. I'm definitely not out to kill you. Instead, I'm searching for my prey. My number one target.

Siobhan Lewis.

Her hair, to her scent, her eyes; the way her figure moves...Mi Amor. My love. Can you not see? I'm obsessed with her. Since the first day I ever saw her to now, she has run through my mind daily.

Yet, Siobhan doesn't know me. Well, at least not yet. But I've been in her life since day one, following her every move. I've even been in her closet once. From her little crew of three, to her little 'perfect,' boyfriend, Craig. I've been there.

She thinks she has it good now, but she's got it all wrong.

Currently, I am playing chess with a fellow inmate at Riker's Island. But, in my mind, I am plotting how in the hell I am going to get my precious to myself. Even if it means killing her cherished boyfriend or her little friends.

Silently, I moved a white chess piece that laid on the board, then smirking up at my opponent.

"Checkmate." I informed him before flipping the table over. As the mate sitting across from me mouth hung agape in surprise, I tackled him to the ground, punching him unconscious. I soon spun around to face the frantic guard that ran to my cell to check what all the noise was.

As a guard entered my cell, I kicked him in the jaw and jumped atop of him, hastily pressing the pressure points on his neck until he slowly grew limp. Quickly, I changed out of my clothes and into his own guard outfit.

What a piece of cake.

With the smirk still plastered on my face, I smoothly walked out of the cell. I glanced around the hallways and saw that not one guard occupied the hallway. I closed back the cell and locked it, laughing in content. I was free, and there was nothing that stopped me from getting to my goal. Siobhan.
