Author's Note

Hey guys, so here's some explaining I thought people would like to know.

1. Was it really necessary to pretend to kill off the main character?

Well, it was. Sort of. If Yenling had made it back to Taiwan, Jun would think he had done the right thing by protected her. He would then be under the assumption that Yenling hated him for what he did, and would do his best to get out of her life, therefore not contacting her in anyway.

On the other hand, Yenling would also assume that the reason why Jun broke up with her was her own fault, and will continue to blame herself for hurting Jun's feelings. She, therefore, will not try to contact Jun either.
And then the story wouldn't be able to continue.

But by pretending to kill Yenling off, Jun would now have a sense of desperancy, to see her for one last time, to speak to her one last time. And he would absolutely do anything to get to see Yenling again.

Get it? No? Well sorry I'm bad at explaining then.

2. What does that Chinese bit in the last chapter mean? The song Jun was singing?

I didn't want to be another one of those romance story writers who copies and pastes a random song into their story to convey emotions or whatever, so I wrote one myself.
I found out that no, I am not a good songwriter. And I am also not a good translator, either. Nevertheless, here is a translated version. Honestly, the Chinese one sounds so much better. I have to work on my translation skills.

3. Is there going to be a sequel?

No, but there will be more spinoffs. Lots more. Maybe another book? About a different member? I have a Wonwoo fanfic planned in mind, and also a Joshua one. But not a large scaled one like this book, because I'm going to get pretty busy later this year.

4. Can I be you're friend?

5. Are the characters in the story real?

Yes, I'm pretty sure all of you know who Yenling is. Just don't say it out loud. Shh. Shut up. Zip it. It's embarrassing, alright? And kinda dumb. Future me will be laughing at present me.

And since Yenling is, in fact, a real person, (just lamer than the one in the story, and also younger, and uglier, and-) JJ and Siyu are also real people, my classmates at school. And thank God they suck at English. They would never understand this.

6. Does JJ really look like Jun?

Yes and no. He's really just a downgraded version of Jun. Like a Pokemon before evolving. But worse than a Pokemon. Something like that.

7. What inspired this story?

A dream, I think. I sort of dreamed it and woke up thinking, hey, this could be a good plot for a fanfiction. And thanks to my overactive imagination, this book came to life. Great job, brain, you suck.
