Laying on the bed, I looked at the neon stars, moons and planets gleaming in the darkness in my isolated bedroom - yes, I had the radium stickers on my ceilings. How satisfying it was just to lay casually on bed and count the exact number of stars and of course, how bored was I to do this humbug job! Everything thing was very peaceful, the darkness was like my escape from daylight and troubled thoughts. I always loved darkness because in darkness nobody would figure out you crying even if you're beside them. Not that I cried a lot, in fact I didn't even cry at all. I just loved to spend my time with myself, pondering things, solving problems of my life, talking to myself and silently cursing for the thin walls. Because, in the room beside mine, Ella and Edmund were invading my solace.

"Oh my dear Ella, what would I have done without you!"

Perhaps, would not have acted like Romeo!

"Oh no Edmund, what would have I done without you!"

"My dear love, if it were not for you I wouldn't have dared to leave my job."

The voice of Edmund was cut off from my hearing senses as I heard familiar ringtone buzzing in my background, thank the good God! I stood up and unplugged my phone from the charger and peeked into the screen. My lips curved up into a smile as I could see his name on the screen.

Of course, it was his wont to save me from boring and embarrassing situations. Thank God, he saved me from the cliché couples.

Taking pillow in my hand, I sat on the bed with my crossed legs as I received the call.
