I hugged myself as I felt cold wind hit my face. A shiver ran down my back. I snuggled closer to him to find some warmth but I groaned as the place beside me was empty. I got up and clutched the shirt of Rikkard tighter..the one I was wearing right now. Instantly, I got the warmth. I placed my nose against his shirt and I could smell him. It felt so peaceful yet it felt so void. A part of me was already missing him.

Why does he have to be so workaholic?!

He was already gone and the worst part.... without me.

He could have woke me up but he is too stubborn and insists that I should get some rest especially after the night.

I would show him I'm not some damsel in distress and can work very well. I would go to his office like always and work with him just like any other day.

I groaned as I stood up and headed out of the bedroom to get some breakfast.

I rubbed my eyes curling my fist as I stood at the kitchen door. I inhaled as the sweet aroma entered my nostrils.

A smile made way to my face as I saw shirtless Rikkard making pancakes.

Oh.. He's still here.

His jaw was clenched. His stare was intense. He concentrated with all he had just to flip the pancake. I grinned.

He does take his work way too seriously.

I walked towards him and hugged him from behind. I felt him stiff under my touch and then he relaxed while I found my comfort. My grip tightened around him as I hugged him with all I had. His body was enough to spread warmth throughout my body. A surge of heat passed through my body from head to toe.

Resting my head on his back, I inhaled his scent, "Good Morning, Rikkard."

Silence.

He was too busy making the breakfast. My hands travelled towards his chest and I grinned as I heard his voice, "Don't disturb me, Lillian. I'm working."

"So that means, I can't even touch my husband?" I asked still leaning on his back.

"Now isn't the time or we will remain hungry." He said looking at the pancake which he'd just made.

"I'm already hungry, Rikkard. But not for the food." I said seductively.

"Lillian! You're not helping. We'll have breakfast now or we'll be late for office."

"Okay." I sighed and moved away from him as I folded my hands and glared at him.

If he doesn't want to talk then I don't want to talk to him either.

That chauvinist! Ha! I won't let him control me.

When finally he was done with his pancakes, he turned around.

"I'm done." He stated but then he noticed my expression and sighed. He walked towards me and looked deeply into my eyes. He cocked his head at a side and studied me for a while. "You are mad at me, aren't you?"

"You're so observant, thank you!" I mocked.

"You're definitely mad at me." He stated while I just glared at him.

"Yes I'm mad at you, very much in fact!"

"Well, you know, I can't have you mad at me because I would end up being bruised."

Translation: I can't have you mad at me because I would end up being alone without you.

Rikkard never did accept his feelings but I'd known him for a long time now. He and the words.. never get along.
