"But I want it anyway anyway anyway!" He grabbed me, placing one hand on my waist and one in my hand, mimicking the dance we did when he took me to Ellen with him. My cheeks burned from smiling so much. I knew my parents had entered the room and were watching us, me more than him, making fools of ourselves.

When the song ended my parents applauded the performance. My father was the first to speak.

"(y/n), I didn't expect to like him. But he surprised me." Tae had the biggest smile on his face. "Welcome to the family Taehyung."

"I promise to treat (y/n) like a princess." He put his arm around me and gave me a little squeeze. Suddenly something in his eyes lit up. "BTS has show tomorrow. Late Late. You should come, meet the rest of the members. See us perform." He suggested.

"We'd love to!" My mom said happily, she has always had a thing for James Corden. The doorbell rang, the fun was over. His manager was very strict about him needing to be back at a certain time.

"Thank you for dinner, it was nice to meet you." He shook their hands once again and hugged me goodbye before leaving.

...

I walked through the hallway slowly, my feet basically dragging on the floor. I had been so occupied with the boys that I forgot about all the homework I had to do, so I stayed up till 4 am to finish it. Today I was rocking grey sweatpants, Tae's Gucci shirt, and converse, I'm thinking of naming this style 'Million dollar couch potato'.

The news about the BTS mystery girl had become the new hot topic at school. It seems like I couldn't go 15 minutes without hearing someone say they hate me, of course they didn't know it was me but nonetheless it was unsettling.

My friends joined me on my walk to my next class.

"Did you see the new picture of Jimin this morning?" Jackie scrolled through her phone.

"Awe, my mochi." I said without thinking.

"Okay, (y/n), I get you're new to BTS but get your own bias." Louise sounded angry.

"No, no, no. I don't even like them, I promise." I held up my hands defensively. (f/n) looked at my ring finger in confusion before grabbing it and studying it.

"When did you get this?" She asked.

"I- uhm... Found it." I said nervously, she grunted and stormed off. It was moments like these where I wish I could tell my friends. I'm sure they would understand why I was spending so much time with him, but I'm not sure if they'd be happy to know I was dating Taehyung. Maybe I should call Suga, he's always good to talk to about this stuff.

I could feel my friends becoming distant, I hate keeping secrets.

...

Taehyung had invited my parents to come watch BTS perform on the Late Late show, I was excited to introduce them to the other members. When we arrived on the lot we waited outside with the other audience members. It wasn't long before they opened the doors and the wave of people ran through. Everyone quickly found their seats and waited for the show to start.

When BTS was introduced all of the fangirls in the audience stood up and screamed their names, the boys have a warm smile and sat to begin their interview with James. Things didn't start getting interesting till he pulled the boys over to play flinch. I almost fell out of my seat laughing when J-hope fell over. I could tell my parents were having a good time and seemed genuinely entertained watching them. When they finally performed I watched my parents faces instead of the performance. You can tell a lot about what a person is thinking by looking at their eyes. My dad was watching Taehyung's every move, evaluating him from head to toe. Meanwhile my mom was jumping from each member taking in the over all performance, she even started to tap her foot to the music.

When the event was done a security guard was brought over to us to take us to the back, we were able to sneak past everyone without them noticing.

"You guys did great!" I skipped over to them. "Oh, guys, I'd like you to meet my parents. Mom, Dad, meet: Jin, Suga, J-hope, Jimin, Jungkook, and RM." The boys gave their traditional little bow and greeting.

"You guys really were great out there." My mom said sincerely.

"Thank you, It was so great for you guys to come out. (y/n) is such an amazing girl, we've all become great friends with her." RM replied due to his level of english.

"Yeah she is. We trust her to hang around the right people, good people." My dad gave me a warm smile. "You guys are welcome over anytime." They all smiled.

"Same goes for you if you're ever in Korea." Namjoon continued.

"Thank you. Well it's getting late. We should probably get going. It was great meeting all of you." My dad waved them off and guided us to the car.
