Today is Kara's special day, and Lena says Kara can have a dog. The superhero doesn't waste anytime, she flies to the nearest pet shop leaving Lena behind.
...
"Oops, I forgot to take you with me." Kara says when Lena enters the shop fifteen minutes later.
"Someone won't get a birthday sex."
"Nuuuu." Kara pouts.
...
"Find anything?" Lena asks.
"Yup." Kara drags Lena to the left aisle and presents two pugs. "I want them."
"I said a dog. Singular."
"But Lena, they're twins. We can't tear them apart. " Kara takes the brown pug and gives Lena the other one. The puppy licks Lena's hand.
"Awww he loves you. Mommy, please take us home." Kara uses her puppy eyes that melts Lena's heart every time.
"Fine." Lena sighs. "Under one condition, I name them."

Back at home, Kara's teaching the puppies to sit, jump, roll, etc.
"One trick at a time, babe." Lena warns. "So, I have the names. Klor and Sesium. Chloros means green in greek and caeruleus is blue in latin. I get it from periodic table of the elements, based on their eye color."
"You're a nerd." Kara shakes her head. "Thank you for the puppies. I love them."
"More than you love me?"
"Impossible. You're my number one."
