Will You Walk Me Down The Aisle

Kara finds the soon to be married couple standing in front of the church. The groom wears an ivory tuxedo, a bow tie with black trousers. The bride carries a hand-tied bouquet of lily and she looks happy in her mermaid wedding dress. But when their eyes meet and the blonde waves at her, the younger woman sheds a tear.

The later runs to Kara and cries in her arms.

"What's wrong, sweetheart?"

"I wish mom was here."

The Kryptonian feels a sudden pang of loss but she contains herself. "She's here. She is with us," Kara takes Lori's hand and places it on her heart.

"What would mom said?"

There is a sense of déjà-vu when Kara looks in her daughter's eyes, a copy of her mother's. "Lena would say how content she is that you find love like we did and her love for you is endless."

That turn Lori's frown uoside down. "Mommy, a bride needs her parent on her wedding day. You have always been there by my side, through all the moments of my life. I want to share this day with you. Will you walk me down the aisle?"

"I thought you'd never ask," Kara answers, eyes glistening with happy tears. "Before I'll let you go, let me put this plumeria on your left ear." It symbolizes that she is taken.

Kara kissed the top of her daughter's head and leans down, whispering in her ear, "You look so beautiful in white."
