I sigh, mustering up all the strength, and picking the phone up, sliding my thumb over the answer button.

"Hello?" The girls mouth to put it on loud speaker, so I do.

"Hey." He says quietly. "I, err, I was wondering what's going to happen about the kids?"

"Well, if you want to see them I have to let you, it's the law, I think." I mumble, the girls look at me with sympathetic smiles.

"I was thinking, that, err, it's probably best if I don't see them." He sighs. "I want to see them, I do, but I think if I see them I'd probably ruin their chances of having a relatively normal childhood."

"Okay." I nod. Perrie stands up and sits next to me and I lean my head on her shoulder.

"I love them, I really do." He mumbles, and I nod, then realise he can't see me, I go to speak up, but he beats me to it. "And I love you aswell."

"Niall, come on! Let's go!" Someone calls out and the line goes dead. Well then...

"It'll be alright, darling." El says standing up and walking up to me.

"Let's go out, I'm don't want to sit around all day." I say and we all stand up. I call my parents, and they happily tell me they will babysit the kids.

Ten minutes later, they arrive and I thank them before we all walk out the door.

"Do you think they're alright?" I ask, as we sit in Starbucks.

"Who?" Perrie asks.

"Sammy and Charlie." I sigh.

"I'm sure they're fine." El reassures me.

"Do you think? They haven't been sleeping." I mumble. "It's like they can tell Niall isn't going to be around."

"They'll be alright." Perrie says and I nod.

"Sophia!" El calls out and a girl turns around and waves.

"Hey!" Sophia smiles and walks over to us.

"What's been happening." She asks and sits down on the empty seat next to me.

"Niall called this morning." I tell her and she just gives me a hug.

"Well, I think Liam and I broke up." She says sadly, and this time I give her a hug.

"What happened?" I ask.

"I don't know actually, we just got in a fight and I walked out, so, I'm not sure exactly what's going on." She explains and I nod.

"You'll fix it." I tell her and she shakes her head.

"I don't think we will, our relationship was on the fritz anyways." She sniffles. "I think this was the last straw."

"You've got us." Perrie says and Sophia gives her a small smile.

"He still loves Danielle." She says and El spits out her drink, all over me, seeing as she was sitting opposite me.

We all give her a questioning look and she just awkwardly laughs. "My drink doesn't taste right." She mumbles before standing up and walking over to the counter. Perrie gives me a strange look before speaking up.

"I have to go, management just sent me a message." She gives us both a hug before standing up and leaving, she didn't even check her phone?

"I'm gonna go, I have a photoshoot." Sophia says standing up and walking off.

El walks back as soon as Sophia walks out.

"What was that about?" I ask.

"What?" She asks, sitting opposite me again.

"The whole, 'my drink doesn't taste right" thing." I mock her.

"I, err, he, um." She pauses for a moment to collect her thoughts. "Promise you won't say anything." I give her a nod so she continues.

"Of course Liam still loves Dani, he was going to propose to her, I'm not even joking, but they had a massive fight, and now they don't talk, like at all, unless they have to, and even then it is extremely awkward."

"Really?" I gape. She gives a nod and looks around, before moving to sit next to me and whispering.

"He told Lou that the main reason he was with Sophia was to try to make Danielle jealous and hoping she would come back to him." My eyes widen and she nods.

"I've actually never really liked her, she tries too hard." She shrugs and stands up, the conversation forgotten as she drags me out and into a different store.

"Bye Mum, love you too." I kiss Mum on the cheek and she walks out the door.

"Bye Dad." I give him a hug.

"Bye Princess, you sure you don't want me to beat up Niall?" He jokes, well at least I think he's joking.

"It's alright, there's no need." I chuckle, he nods and walks out the door.

I walk into the lounge and look at Sammy and Charlie laying on the floor, on their mat.

I sit down next to them and just watch them, making sure their not pulling each others hair, or ears. At one stage they are holding hands and I quickly snap a photo of it, sending it to the girls. They all reply something along the lines of how cute they are.

That night, the three if us slept the whole night, Charlie and Sammy didn't wake once, or if they did, they didn't start crying.

That night, I dreamt of a life where Niall and I lived happily ever after with Charlie and Sammy.

But when I woke in the morning I realised it could never happen, and even if we did ever meet again, it would never be the same....
