My brother and I were walking into the ACC to watch the Maple Leafs. I was so excited I could barely contain myself, although I felt like this game would be different somehow and I was wondering what it could be. Soon I hear my brother yelling at me. I snapped out of my daze and see that I walked right past where we were supposed to go. I ran back and we went to find our seats even though we knew where they were because we sit in them every home game. I picked which seat I wanted, sat down and got comfortable so I could be ready for warm ups.

It was about 10 minutes when I happened to glance up and see the first player coming out. I quickly tap my brothers shoulder and we both put our phones away and focus on the players as they warm up. As they come out, I get ready to name off the players to see who is in the lineup for tonight. But something is off and I only see one player coming out and he's wearing a number I don't recognize. 2. Who is number 2? He turns and I see the name Bean on the back and I start freaking out. Jake Bean is in front me right now. I'm watching him skate a few laps by himself as a welcome to the NHL. On his last lap around, he skates right up to the glass and winks at me. I stand there completely stunned at what just occurred. I can't believe Jake Bean just winked at me.

At the end of warm ups, he was the last player on the ice. He went to the bench, grabbed a piece of paper from one of the trainers, wrote something on it, taped it to a puck and skated over to me. I pointed at myself to make sure it was meant for me. He nodded and threw the puck over the glass to me. He smiled and skated away. I unfolded the note and it said, "Stay after the game and wait for a security guard to come get you. Follow him." I couldn't help but grin at the note and try to contain my excitement during the game.

As soon as the game ended with the Leafs winning 6-2, I sat in my seat and waited as patiently as I could. I was about to get up and walk around when someone tapped me on the shoulder.

"Are you the one who got the puck from Bean?" He asked.

"Yes, sir." I say shaking.

"Please follow me," he said as he started walking up to the main concourse.

We walked for so long I didn't think we were going to get anywhere specific.

"Where are we going exactly?" I asked impatiently.

"You'll see, just keep following me," he said.

We kept following him and soon enough we found ourselves outside the Leafs locker room. I absolutely lost it when we got there. The guard left and I stood there in awe, just waiting. The first player to come out was Marleau, then Matthews, then Nylander and soon all the players were out. I kind of got discouraged when he suddenly walked out. We met each other's gaze and I stood there frozen, not sure of what to do. He got closer and closer until he stood directly in front of me. I didn't know what to do, standing there completely lost. Out of nowhere, he slowly started leaning down and softly placed his lips on mine. It was so gentle and sweet, I couldn't help but deepen it. When we pulled away, he was being such a gentleman, asking if anything was wrong or if I was okay with everything. I nodded and from that day on, we have been inseparable.
