Chapter 21: annie

I wake up with Katie next to me. I get my phone and check Instagram and hayden posted a picture. I comment on it and he texts me.
(A- annie, H- hayden)
H- hey babe
A- hi
H- are you okay?
A- yeah, I just miss you
H- I miss you too, but guess what?
A- what?
H- I'm coming home today
A- yay!
I get dressed and get Chloe dressed then Katie gets up.
'Hey katie'
'Hey Annie, are you okay?'
'Yeah, hayden is coming home today so I'm super happy about that.'
'That's good, I'm going to go ahead and head home, call me if you need me.'
'Ok, bye Katie.'
'Bye Annie.'
I walk over and hug Katie before she leaves. After Katie leaves I walk over to Chloe and tell her that hayden is coming home today.
'Chloe, honey, guess what?'
'What?'
'Daddy is coming home today.'
'Really!?!'
'Yes'
'Yay!!! I missed him so much!'
I get a call from hayden
'Hello?'
'Hey baby.'
'Hey'
'I'm back in Maryland, I'm getting my stuff from baggage claim and my Uber will bring me home.'
'Ok, I'll see you when you get here.'
'Okay, I love you.'
'I love you too.'
We hang up and I tell Chloe to get dressed so she can surprise hayden when he gets home.

It's been a hour since hayden called me and I hear a car door close in the drive way.
'Chloe!! Daddy's home!!'
'Daddy!!!'
Hayden walks in the door and Chloe runs to him.
'Daddy!! I missed you so much!!'
'Hey Chloe!'
I walk up to hayden and hug him
'There's my beautiful wife.'
We both laugh and I kiss him.
He gets all his stuff put up and comes into the living room.
'Hey, babe?'
'Yeah?'
'Do you wanna go out to eat tonight? We can find a babysitter for Chloe.'
'Sure, I can ask katie if she can watch Chloe for us.'
'Alright, well, go get dressed and I'll call Katie.'
I nod and go get dressed and I hear hayden call Katie. After i get done getting dressed I walk into the living room and I look at hayden.
'I'm ready.'
'Wow'
'What?'
'You just look so perfect in that dress.'
'Aww, thanks babe.'
Katie texts me and tells her that she's here and I let her in.
'Hi Katie.' I say
'Hi Annie, hi hayden.'
'Hey'
'Ok, Chloe is in her room playing with her dolls, there is a bedtime schedule on the island.'
'Ok, got it.'
'Thanks Katie, ttyl'
'Ttyl, now you two go have fun, no need to hurry.'
Me and hayden leave and we get to the restaurant and sit down.
'You look amazing, Annie.'
'Thanks babe, you look good too.'
'I missed you so much.'
'I missed you too.'
We finish eating then we pay for the food and leave.
'Baby'
'Yeah?'
'Do you wanna go see a movie?'
'Sure'
We go to the movies and watch wonder. I started crying during it and hayden has to hug me until I calmed down.

We get home and Katie is sitting on the couch watching tv.
'We're home.'
'Oh, hey. Chloe is in bed. She was an angel.'
'Thanks again for watching her Katie.'
'No problem. Just call me if you need anything.'
'Ok, thank you, bye.'
'Bye'
After Katie leaves me and hayden get ready for bed and we lay down.
'Good night, mr. Summerall'
'Good night, mrs. Summerall'
He kisses me on the forehead and I fall asleep.
