Chapter 7: hayden

I wake up before Annie so I get in the shower. I come out of the bathroom and Annie is awake.
'Hey baby.' I say as I hug her
'Hey.....Hayden? What do you think about kids?'
'W-what about them?'
'I think I wanna have kids.'
'O-okay.'
I get confused on why she's talking about kids because she never said anything about them before. She gets dressed and we go meet katie to go to six flags.
'Annie! You should go on the Ferris wheel with Hayden at sundown, the view will be so pretty and it will be so romantic.' Katie says as she puts her hands up to her face and makes her eyes look dreamy like in movies.
'Okay.'
'Yeah, let's do that. Sun down is at 7 and it's 5:45 right now, let's go ride some rides.'
We walk to a roller coaster and we get on, there's a big drop so when it's time for the drop I have to hold onto Annie. She has a lot of fun on the rides and before we know it it's 10 minutes until sun down so we run to the Ferris wheel. We get on the Ferris wheel and we get to the top at sundown and it is so beautiful.
'Its so beautiful.' Annie says
'Annie, I was thinking about the kids thing and, I wanna have kids too.'
Annie's face is shocked but she smiles anyways. We get off the Ferris wheel and go to the hotel, Annie goes to the bed because she is tired and I go to bed too. Annie smiles at me and I smile back. I can't remember what we did because I was so tired but I woke up with Annie's arms wrapped around me and her head on my chest. I get up with out waking her and get something to eat. Annie gets up too and gets something to eat. She looks like she's in pain.
'Baby, what's wrong?'
'I'm fine, just cramps.'
'Do I need to go buy something for you?'
'No, I'm alright.'
I look at Annie worried and she says she's okay. She goes into the bathroom and I can hear her open something. I didn't think about it to much but then I hear Annie scream.
'Annie!?! Are you okay!!??'
She walks out of the bathroom smiling.
'Your going to be a dad, Hayden.'
I smile and pick her up.
'I love you, Annie summerall.'
'I love you too, Hayden summerall.'
