Messin' with Horan| n.h.

The puffy paint was set out.

And there were tons of glitter.

And the tinsel was immense.

Now there was just one thing left, assigning each other their competition.

"Ok, so Niall you are going to be competing against," Liam said as Niall drew a name out of the basket.

"Harry," Niall laughed. "I'm gonna beat your arse at making an ugly Christmas jumper."

"I doubt that," Harry said as he grabbed a strand of tinsel.

"I guess that means that I'm going against Louis," Liam said smacking him on the shoulder.

Louis gave him a cheeky grin.

"Everybody grab your sweaters," Liam eagerly said, grabbing his own red jumper.

The boys pushed and shoved each other out of the way, trying to get the colour they wanted.

"Aw why'd I have to get the black one?" Niall questioned the others who liked the colours they got.

"Ok, so we have twenty minutes to create the ugliest sweater ever." The boys were already starting to grab their supplies for their sweaters.

Harry set a timer on his phone.

"Go!"

They raced to put as much hot glue and glitter on their sweaters as would fit.

Niall tried to make his look like an elf costume, oblivious to the plan coming into form around him.

"We should wrap him lights," Louis said picking up some battery pack lights.

"And cover him in glitter," Harry said picking up a glitter shaker.

"And put ornaments on him," Louis said picking up some red ornaments.

"Lads I don't know," Liam scratched his head.

"If you don't let us, we will tie you both u-" Louis stared at Liam menacingly.

"Ok ok we can do it," Liam said putting his hands up.

Harry and Louis grinned, as if they hadn't just threatened Liam.

The plan was put into action after Harry put on Niall's favourite Christmas song. His head was bopping and he was singing along to the music.

Harry unwrapped the Christmas lights from around the battery box, and started slowly wrapping the lights around Niall's legs. Louis started wrapping the top half as well.

"I really don't think we should be doing this," Liam whispered Louis turned around with some lights and gave him a look that stroke fear into him.

The timer went off which brought Niall out of his trance. By then, however, he was already wrapped up in lights.

"Like my sweater?" Niall asked as the other boys backed away from him. Niall tried to walk towards them to show the black and white (somewhat elf-looking) sweater, but failed miserably.

He fell flat on his face.

Louis and Harry laughed, and Liam emitted a chuckle.

But Niall did not find it funny.

"You're gonna pay for that lads," Niall said as he started yanking the lights off of himself. He gave the most scary look he could muster (which wasn't very frightening for Niall), and grabbed the glitter shakers.

Louis and Harry looked at each other and ran before Liam could even realize what was happening.

"I sweated I tried to tell them not to do it, but they would listen!" Liam yelled at Niall, who was already having a lot of fun. Niall was slowly backing Liam into a wall, his hand untwisting the cap for the glitter and glue.

"I won't do anything to ya if you help me get those two idiots who tied me up." Niall's accent was very apparent as he said these words.

"Sure sure sure," Liam said still backing into the wall.

"Let's get 'em then."

Harry and Louis thought that they were smart for hiding in the bathroom closet.

Little did they know, it was the most obvious place to hide in the house, so Niall and Liam found them instantly.

The closet doors swung open and there Louis and Harry were backed into the wall. Niall came at them, squirting glue and throwing glitter on their hair.

Louis and Harry thought it was quite funny to see the ways that Niall would give payback, so they just laughed when the glitter and glue fell onto their foreheads.

"That's what you get for messin' with Horan."

(a/n): Hello and happy (almost) 2018! I'm terribly sorry for not updating in a while, school has been rather stressful and I haven't found the time to write. I hope that you all had a lovely holiday and got to be with the ones that you love (and that you got everything that you wanted for Christmas if that's what you celebrate)! I know I had a lot of fun with my family and friends, and got what I wanted and even more on Christmas (I got tickets to go see Harry and I'm super excited :). I thought this chapter was pretty cute if I do say so myself, and I hope you thought so as well.

Anyways, here's to a wonderful (drama-free) 2018!
