"Alright, first things first, I say we look for our missing friends. Let's start at Snowball's apartment," Max called out, ignoring Leonard's depressing sigh at the thought that they weren't looking for his MP3 player first. Sniffing around the room, Mel and Buddy reported that they couldn't get any traces when something banged against a closed closet door. Curious, Chloe grabbed the handle while holding Sweetpea in front of her. "What?! You don't know what could be on the other side of this door," she explained after receiving some dirty looks. Rolling his eyes, Buddy saved Sweetpea and opened the door.
Tied up back to back on the floor in the closet were Snowball and Ozone. Duck tape was placed over their mouths, restraining them from calling for help. Astonished, Mel and Buddy began untying them while Chloe ripped off the tape. "OUCH!" Snowball and Ozone shouted at the same time. Norman dragged a water bottle over to them so they could have a drink.
Max was just about to ask what happened to them when he was suddenly pinned down. "How dare you!" Gidget shouted, a wildfire raging in her eyes.
