After my mans Chris married his girl too, I felt like I was missing out. I know Zoë is my girl and I gotta marry her asap.
"We're going to your parent's house tonight still right?" I asked her as I got ready. She was getting dressed too in front of me.
The scar on her chest made those memories of that night come back rushing in my mind every time I saw it. Then I would remember how close I was to losing her.
"Yeah, my little brother Miles will be there too. I haven't seen him in months" she said, I paused just looking at her for a moment.
I slowly made my way to her, I wrapped my arms around her securely as she slid her top on.
"Marry me" I whispered in her ear softly. She turned around to look at me with a smile on her face
"Babe, I know both of your best friends are married now but you don't have to feel pressured" she assured, her thumb brushed on my beard gently.
I untangled my arms around her then went into my jewelry box. I took out a small box from there then walked back to her. I handed it to her
"I've been thinking about this for a long time" she gasped when she opened the box and found the engagement ring

"Okay" I said rubbing her back smoothly. Waiting for her to calm down and tell me what's wrong.
