Louis’s POV

I got up and left Liam’s bunk, shuffling over to my own. I closed the curtain behind me and pulled out my phone, dialing Simon.

“You’ve reached the voice mailbox of… Simon Cowell… please leave your message after the tone.”

                *BEEEEEEP*

“Hey… Uncle Si… It’s uh, it’s Louis. I was wondering if you could set up an interview with Hits Radio. See I have this thing that… well I’d rather explain it to you if you were on the phone not just in a message but uh… yeah so could you-“ Suddenly the line goes silent and I hear shuffling on the other end.

“You wanted to tell me what now?” Simon’s gravely voice comes through the line.

“Oh Uncle Si, I was leaving…”

“Yes you were leaving me a message. I decided to let you talk before I decided whether or not to pick up the phone.” I chuckled, “So what is this you want to do with Hits Radio now?”

“Well, you see there’s this girl… and well I don’t think we ever actually introduced her to you. Well she’s Holly’s best friend. You remember Holly, Liam’s girlfriend?”

“Yep I remember her, go on.”

“Well anyway I really like her, I actually think I might be falling in love with her… but uh anyway we left and I didn’t tell her we were leaving because I didn’t really know how… so then she got angry at me and we haven’t talked and I miss her so much and then I saw a picture of her on twitter kissing another guy and I got really upset and I wrote a song for her to tell her how much she means to me and I was hoping in the interview I could sing it for her and then maybe she’d at least talk to me…” I sigh. Simon is silent for a moment before responding.

“You remind me of myself a bit Louis.” He says.

                “Really?”

“Yeah… really. Alright I’ll call and see if I can set up something with Alex from In:Demand.”

“Thanks Si, I owe you one.”

                “Bye Louis.”

“Bye.” I hang up and let out a sigh. I look at my phone, 11:54. I wonder if she’s still awake? I decide to dial anyway.

                “Hello?”

                “Mum you’re still up!”

                “Hi honey how are you?”

                “I’ve been better.” I mumble.

“Sounds like a girl problem. Spill it.” I can almost feel her smile through the phone. She loves when I come to her for girl advice.
