They didn't let any of us (girls) know about it cause they claim we would've told her. Zoë and I were her maids of honor. The bride was crying through the entire ceremony
"Are you still Okay?" My wife whispered looking at me from the opposite side, I rolled my eyes and ignored her.
She's been working none stop since she found out about the baby and every time I ask her about it she acts like I'm starting a fight.
I cheered for the new Mr And Mrs Brown as they kissed for the first time as a married couple, I frowned internally thinking about how Rih and I only got married 6 months ago and we're already having issues.
I saw Rih walking over to me as we made our way towards the reception. She slid her arm around my waist then kissed my ear
"Baby, I'm tired of fighting. Can we please stop?" She whispered in my ear, again I kept to myself.
She stayed by my side as we made our way to the reception, she then left my side and went to the catering ladies
I rubbed my belly sitting at our table. Zoë was with Drake. I sat and observed the guests, it was mainly our close friends and some of her own friends and family members that I've met
"Here you go" Rih handed me a plate, I didn't even see her come back. She sat next to me, her gaze was on me as I tried my best to ignore her
"Bey... baby please stop ignoring me, you know I hate it when you do that" she said softly
We were interrupted by noise coming from guests, Kae and Chris walked in hand in hand. I got up and put my attention on them instead of Rih.
I really didn't want to talk about this here. I was really trying to stay happy for my friend.
I went and mingled with my girls, Kae came back and gushed about how happy she was. We complimented her new hair do and the dress she had on.
Chris called her and asked her for their first dance as a married couple. He seemed content and happy in the moment.
There was so much love in his eyes when he looked at his wife. I missed seeing that look in Rih's eyes. I missed her passion and softness
I hated the feeling of being alone in this pregnancy and every time I expressed that she felt as if I am attacking her.
Aurelie then suggested that I start ignoring her which I've been doing
"May I have this dance?" I felt my wife's presence behind me. I noticed then that the deejay was playing Anita Baker's You Bring Me Joy and the dance floor was empty.
