97: best lie I told at school

In my freshman year of high school, I had an oral fixation satisfied by chewing on toothpaste. One day my mum gave me some root beer flavoured toothpicks. When i brought them to school and pulled them out, people were curious about them. Being the cool person I am, I told them they were made from marijuana; I called them hash picks. At first no one believed me but after I sold them to one of the dumb kids, people started asking for them. I charged ten dollars a pick. After a few months, my mum approached me, saying someone is selling marjuina toothpicks at school. I told her the story and we both laughed at people's stupidity.
