He smiles softly at me, and I can't seem to understand or add anything up from last night that would somehow lead me here with Nash Grier, standing shirtless in blue plaid pajama pants.
"Good, you're awake." He makes his way over to my side of the bed, and holds his hands out to me, and I quickly pop the pills to the back of my throat as offering me the water and I take it.
Unscrewing the top of the plastic container, throwing the pills in my mouth and taking a few sips of it, until I feel the cool liquid run down my throat, then I realize how much I needed it as I begin taking several gulps of the hydrating beverage.
Nash sits down next to my knees on the edge of the bed and I hand him back the now empty plastic bottle.
"Remember anything from last night?" Nash asks me and I try to think back on it.
"Hmmm..."
"Jess and I went with Hayes to Club's and I remember taking a shot or two and then dancing with Jess. I can't remember much else, I guess I'm just confused as to how I ended up here..."
He nods his head, looking away from me.
"You had passed out. And I didn't know you were with Jess and Hayes, I thought you had went alone. I wanted to make sure you were...safe so I brought you back here."
"Jess is probably freaki—"
"I texted Jess so she wouldn't worry about where you were or why you didn't come home."
"Thanks.....Where are my clothes?"
"In the dryer, I cleaned them right before coming to check on you." He states looking straight ahead.
"Why?"
"You threw up all over yourself." He states bluntly.
"So...I changed myself?" I ask him, nervous of his answer.
He takes a long pause and sighs.
"No, I did." I look at him with question.
"So you saw..." he instantly turns his head to me mid-sentance, and nods slghtly, then quickly drops his eyes over my body, and back straight ahead once again.
"Yes. I mean no. Not everything." He responds, knowing exactly what I was about to ask him.
"We didn't....I mean—you didn't–"
"No. Gabby. I wouldn't do that to you." He looks over at me and connects or eyes again, those striking pair of blue eyes nearly burn through me just before I respond.
"Wouldn't be the first." I mumble under my breath as the words go from my brain, instantly slipping through my lips.
My heart instantly fills with guilt, and I can see the metiphorical knife of my words jab into his chest as he lowers his head toward the floor.
"Look..." He stutters and hesitates a moment before continuing.
"I can give you a ride home or whatever it is you want me to do." I instantly protest with him.
