Chapter Forty Nine

Athena saw a smiling Raphael at her door steps when she opens it.  She excitedly jumps up to him and her legs automatically wraps around his waist and gave him a long and sweet make-up kiss while Raffy hugs her tightly. There are exchanges of several 'I love you' and 'I miss you' in between those kisses which lasted for no nobody knows how long. Both Raffy and Athena are catching their breaths when the finally break their so called make-up kiss.

"I miss you your majesty" Raffy sweetly said and planted another kiss on Athena's lips

"I miss you too my knight in shinning armour" Athena replied beaming

"We are still together right?" Raffy seeks confirmation from Athena

"We are together again, nag break tayo kanina remember?" Athena replied smiling

"Alright if that's how you like to call it, then I am happy that we are together again. Pero wag na tayong mabe-break please. I'll go crazy if that happens" Raffy said

"Sino may kasalanan?" Athena sternly asked

"Syempre ako, wala naman akong sinabing kasalanan mo eh" Raffy said

"Don't do that again Raphael, never lie to me again please. Sinasabi ko sa yo kapag inulit mo pa yan, hindi na talaga kita papatawarin" Athena said

"I promise, it will not happen anymore" Raffy replied while he hugs Athena

"Grabe hindi mo ako pinatulog nang ilang araw. I keep on asking myself if you fall out of love with me. I am beginning to regret on suggesting that you work in your luxury ship business. I'll go crazy too if we break-up" Athena confesses

"Same here, hindi rin ako nakatulog for several days until now, buti na lang pumayag si Daddy na bumaba ako sa Australia. Pero sisingilin daw nya ako pati na rin si kuya Randel. Pero don't you ever think that I will fall out of love with you. It will not happen, your majesty" Raffy replied.

"But honestly Raphael, after hearing you earlier, I am glad na Ok na kayo ni Felicity.  Ang tagal ko na ring gustong makilala yang si Felicity, nacurious kasi ako when I heard you say that she is your first heartbreak" Athena said

"Nagpatong kasi yung pain. Yung when I learned who she is plus the infidelity of my Dad. Everytime na nakikita ko sya palagi kong naaalala na kawawa na naman ang Mommy ko, I hated myself for treating her very special. I felt like I betrayed my Mom too. I know my Mom have sacrificed a lot para sa magandang future namin magkakapatid, my brothers and I grew up seeing my Dad only every Christmas until New Year. Kaya sobrang hindi ko maintindihan why my Dad was unfaithful to my Mom" Raffy said

"But obviously Tita Ellen forgave Tito Mario. You said, she was there when Felicity arrived in your house" Athena said

"Yes, oh di ba ang bait ng Mommy ko. She treated Felicity like her own daughter.  She has been very caring to her.  She makes sure to give her everything she needs and sometimes things that Ishi wants too kahit alam ni Mom na magagalit ang Daddy ko binibigay pa rin sa kanya ng Mommy ko.  My Mom never failed to back-up Ishi sa Daddy ko.  Not my Dad, but my Mom literally spoiled her"  Raffy said

"Is she nice?" Athena asked "I mean Felicity, is she nice?"

"Yes she is to the point that I misinterpreted her gestures and thought that I fell in love with her" Raffy said

"What made you say that you were in love with her?" Athena asked "Pero bago mo sagutin yan, pwede bang ibaba mo muna ako, baka nangangawit ka na" Athena said

"Anong ibaba? Ayoko nga, I like it this way para siguradong hindi ka makakapag-walk out" Raffy said.

"Mangangawit ka" Athena said laughing

"I don't care" Raffy replied

"Sige maupo na lang tayo" Athena suggested

"Pwede naman, pero ganito pa rin pwesto" Raffy said

"Siraulo ka, hindi pwedeng ganitong pwesto kapag nakaupo, ayoko no" Athena protested

Raffy chuckles and puts Athena down but quickly pulls her to sit on his lap as soon as he sits on the couch. "O eto pwede na ba 'tong ganitong pwesto?" Raffy asked teasing while putting his arms around Athena.

"Pwede na rin" Athena replied giggling

"Now where are we? I remember we were kissing earlier" Raffy said

"Tse wag kang maharot. Tapos na ang kissing part, we were talking about Felicity before I told you to put me down." Athena said

Raffy laughs out loud "Baka lang naman makalusot" he said

"Pwes hindi nakalusot, kaya sagutin mo na yung hanging question ko" Athena said

"Ano na nga ulit yung question?" Raffy asked

"My question was what made you say that you were in love with her?" Athena said

Raffy smiles and puts Athena's arms on his shoulders while his around her waist. "Well, I thought I was in love with her because I want to protect and take care of her.  I want to make sure that she is always safe.  Gusto ko lagi ko syang napapasaya to the point that I prioritized her before anyone else" he said

"Sabi mo rin sa akin you want to take care and protect me. You always want me to be happy and you prioritize me above anyone else. Hindi kaya pangkapatid lang din yung love mo sa akin?" Athena asked

Raffy fiercely stares at Athena "I don't like you to think that" he said "Wala akong pakiramdam na ganito kay Felicity, sa iyo lang" Raffy replied while wiggling his eyebrows

"Anong pakiramdam yan, kaharutan yan malamang" Athena said poking Raffy's nose

"Exactly, wala akong ganung pakiramdam kay Felicity. Ano bang malay ko sa feeling ng pagiging in love eh I have never been in love before I met her and I was only fifteen then" Raffy said "Pero sa yo your majesty, I always long to hug you like this" he said and hugs Athena tighly. "I did not desire to touch Ishi like this" he continues while sweetly caressing Athena's arms. "And I never wanted to kiss her like this"  Raffy said then gently holds her nape and push her towards him for a sweet kiss which lasted for a while. "Intimacy, I never felt that for Felicity. Unlike to you your majesty, I always yearn for your affection in every single day" Raffy declared

"I love you Raphael"  still Athena manages to sweetly said while catching her breath after their kiss

"I love you more my Princess Athena Rose" Raffy replied to Athena's declaration and again they share another passionate kiss that they both miss for several weeks already.
