Chapter Fifteen

Raffy got stuck on where he is standing when he sees Richard going inside the jewelry store.

"Tito Richard?" Raffy surprisely said

"Raphael, sabi ko na nga ba ikaw yan eh. How are you? Charmaine said you are in a cruise with your whole family" Richard said while tapping Raffy's shoulder beaming

"Nauna na po silang bumalik, gusto ko pa pong mag-ikot sa around Europe" Raffy said

"What are you doing here?" Richard asked.

"May binili lang po ako" Raffy replied

"Ang daming chocolates naman nyan. If those are for Charmaine, don't you think you bought so much, unless you want to her to share it with Thirdy. Kaya lang baka pagalitan ka ni Tita Dei mo" Richard said

Raffy just smile and did not reply to Richard instead he asked him "Nag-iisa po kayo?" to change their topic while the sales lady handed him the jewelry that he bought.

"I got here with my friend but naghiwalay muna kami because he is meeting someone. Since when did you arrive in Zurich?" Richard asked.

"Last Sunday pa po" Raffy replied

"Saan kayo nag dock?" Richard asked.

"Sa London po" Raffy replied

"You flew from London to Switzerland?" Richard asked again.

"Po?" Raffy surprisely replied

"Since you already got what you bought come on treat me for a cup of coffee" Richard said

"Po?" Raffy replied again while feeling that as if there is a huge lump in his throat that makes him hard to breath.

"Why Raphael, don't I deserve atleast a cup of coffee for the betrayal?" Richard said and walks outside the jewelry store and Raffy could not do anything but to nervously follows Richard.

Nobody uttered any word while they walk a few meters to the coffee shop from jewelry store. It was only when they were settled at the corner table of the store that Richard started to talk.

"You know that you cannot lie to me Raphael. Kaya ka nabubulol when I asked you how you get here in Zurich?" Richard said

"Yes Tito Richard, we docked in London and I took the first flight going to .... going to Germany" Raffy confesses.

"And then?" Richard asked

"And then I went to Athena's apartment to talk to her" Raffy continue telling the truth

"Why did you not tell us that you will pay our Princess Athena a visit?" Richard asked

"It was a sudden burst of emotion Tito Richard. For weeks I struggled in blaming myself because I was not able to tell Athena my feelings for her after her her graduation until she left for Germany. Then in just few photos posted in her Instagram account everything happens too fast" Raffy replied

"When did you arrive in Germany?" Richard asked

"Tuesday evening po last week before you arrived" Raffy replied heads down.

"Where did you stay in Germany?" Richard asked once more.

"Sa InnSide po" Raffy replied

"So you stay there until you leave to Zurich last Sunday" Richard said

"No Tito Richard. I checked out last Wednesday and stayed in Athena's apartment until I left for Zurich last Sunday morning" Raffy honestly replied
