Princess Athena (Completed)

Chapter Twelve

The whole family travels to Amsterdam and they stay there for two nights and 3 days. Then they were off to Belgium from Amsterdam. Athena was too shock when Dei instructed them to prepare for check-out the following day.

"Where are we going Mom? Di ba tomorrow pa ang balik natin sa Germany?" Athena asked

"Yes, we are going back to Germany tomorrow but today we are travelling to Zurich" Dei said

"What? But why?" Athena asked

"Ano pa ang gagawin natin dito sa Belgium, we were able to visit those places that you wish to see. Pwede naman pala ng one day lang" Dei explained

"Nakakapagod nang mag-travel Mommy, can we rest at least for a day?" Athena insisted

"Well you can rest in Zurich, we did not prepare any itinerary anyway just the visit to your Dad's friend" Dei said

"Promise we are not going anywhere?" Athena asked

"Sobrang napagod ka ba sa trip na 'to Sweetie? I'm sorry, we are just taking advantage of the time that all of us are available. Pagbalik namin ng Manila, sa Christmas break na kita makakasama"  Dei said

Athena's heart softens after she hears her Mom. She too misses her whole family so much. She is not really tired of this trip because she enjoys those places that they visit. But she is more than worried on the possible chance that they might bump in with Raffy.

"I'm sorry Mommy, napagod lang po siguro talaga ako" Athena said

"No need to apologize Sweetie. I know even Ate is tired also. Obviously, it is only Thirdy who never gets tired of this trip. But let's give the Zurich trip to Daddy. Efraim is one of those few friends of your Dad when we were in college" Dei said

"I am enjoying this trip Mom because I am with you and Daddy and Ate and Thirdy" Athena declared

"I know sweetie, kahit naman ako napagod din" Dei said "Don't tell Daddy" she whispered and Athena giggles at what she said

"Don't worry Mom, I won't tell Daddy" Athena said

"And I promise that we will only stay in one place so we could all have some rest before we go back to Germany" Dei said. "Thanks Mom" Athena said

It is almost lunch time when they landed in Zurich, and they travel less than an hour to get to their destination. Despite her worry that they are breathing the same air as Raffy's, Athena is so glad to see how happy her Dad is, proof that her Dad and his friend have gone through a lot when they were in college. She is also delighted and fascinated on the huge house where they are staying now.

Their Uncle Efraim, as what her Dad wants them to address his friend has a very beautiful house and a pleasant family. She and her siblings get easily at ease with Enzo and Emily as well as their Mom, Jessica Sandoval, as if they have known each other for years. Good thing the Sandovals also speaks Tagalog. Enzo is younger than Charmaine but older than Athena while Emily is of the same age as Athena. They already have the exchange of their social media accounts and were able to talk about different things in their childhood.

"Can I drop by your apartment when I go to Germany Athena?" Enzo asked

"I thought you don't like to go to Germany Kuya" Emily butts-in

"I don't have friends there, why would I go there? I have reasons now" Enzo said

"Of course, I would be glad if you could visit me sometime Enzo" Athena replied

"Introduce him to your friend Ashley" Charmaine suggested

"Why not? But for the record Enzo, Ashley is already taken" Athena said

"It's alright, may slot pa naman ako for additional friends. How about you Athena, are you already taken as well?" Enzo asked

"O bakit napunta sa akin ang usapan?" Athena asked

"I just want to know, baka kapag pinuntahan kita sa Germany hindi na ako makabalik ng buhay dito sa Switzerland. I intend to know you more Athena" Enzo straightly said

"Don't worry Enzo, Athena is still single. She decided to stay single until she graduated" Charmaine replied

"Ikaw talaga ang sumagot para sa akin Ate?" Athena commented

"Because I know ako ang unang makakaalam if ever na may boyfriend ka na" Charmaine brags

"Buti naman wala palang magagalit pag pumunta ako sa Germany" Enzo said

"Wait Enzo, I'll take pictures of you and Athena" Charmaine said

"Groupie na lang tayo Ate, kasama si Emily" Athena protested.

"Later, kayo muna ni Enzo" Charmaine insisted. Enzo put his arms around Athena and sweetly smiles while Athena could not complain because she knows that Charmaine would not stop asking her on why she grumbles. "This is nice, look bagay kayong dalawa" Charmaine said

"Yeah, lalo na siguro kung full smile si Athena" Enzo said

"Ok lang sis, pretty ka pa rin naman kahit tipid ang smile mo. Come Emily, let's show this to Mommy and Tita Jessica" Charmaine said and walks to the kitchen when the two Moms are leaving Enzo and Athena alone in the lanai.

"I'm sorry" Enzo uttered.

"Saan?" Athena asked

"I gave you discomfort. I should have not ask you that" Enzo said

"It's alright Enzo" Athena briefly replied smiling

"Awkwardness is very evident in you. Mukhang hindi pa ako nag-uumpisa basted na ako. May masasagasaan ba ako?" Enzo said

"There is someone very special to me" Athena honestly said

"Does he feel the same way as you do?" Enzo asked

"Yes he does" Athena said.

"Case closed then. Basted na nga ako. I'm right on my impression that you don't go around the bush. I'm just starting and yet I was already turned-down" Enzo said

"Marami pa rin akong slot for new friends" Athena said smiling

"Great, pwede na rin na ma friendzone ako. But it seems that your Ate does not know about this special friend of yours" Enzo said

"Only my friend Ashley and her boyfriend knows about it. You're the third one" Athena replied

"Why not introduce him to your family? You have an amazing parents and siblings" Enzo asked

"I will do that, at the right time and that isn't now" Athena said "I find you as a good person, I hope I'm right"

" Despite keeping it to your family I still find you as a honest person. I know there is a reason why you have to keep it Athena. Thank you for trusting me that little secret of yours. Don't worry it is safe with me." Enzo said

"Thanks Enzo" Athena gratefully said

"He is one lucky guy" Enzo declared

"And I am one lucky girl" Athena replied smiling.

Enzo and Athena just continue with their talk and start a beautiful friendship. But they did not know that Charmaine immediately posted their picture in instagram with a caption "Bagay na bagay sila di ba. I'm rooting for this two and praying that they'll end up together"
