Love Awaits Part 2

(27) Avannah's P.O.V

Avannah’s Point of View:

I’m sitting here with Keisha eating my food. Joseph and Khalil join us.

“Can I talk to you Keisha?” Khalil asked.

“Sure.” Keisha said. They walk off.

“I wonder what’s up.” Joseph said.

“I wonder that too.”

“You know you have the most pretty gray eyes.” Joseph said.

“Thanks.” I think I love him and might end up with him.

I try to listen to what Keisha and Khalil are talking about. All I heard was “Will you marry me?” I instantly began to get excited, I hope she says yes.

“Aw.” I said. They look over my way. Everyone else joins in.

“I love you to and yes I will marry you.” Keisha said.

I instantly get out my seat.

“Oh my gosh! Congratulations.” I said to them as I hug them both.

“Congrats mane.” Joseph said

. I look over at Joseph who is talking to Khalil. I smile.

“Girl you are in love.” Keisha said.

“I guess so.” I said honestly.

“We gotta go pick out an engagement ring tomorrow.” Khalil said. 

“Yeah true.” Keisha said.

Some music plays and we all dance. We were jamming doing the soul train line. Everyone was dancing, laughing and having a good time.

“Well I guess I’m gonna go.” Keisha said.

“Yeah me too.” Khalil said.

“Okay.” I gave them both a hug. Joseph and Khalil fist pound.

“Good seeing ya man.” Joseph said.

Keisha and Khalil both leave, everyone left except for Joseph. We clean up the some of the mess.

“I had fun.” Joseph said.

“Likewise.” Joseph comes over and hugs me from behind.

Damn he smells good.

“You know when I left I couldn’t never stop thinking about you.” Joseph said.

“Really?”

“Yeah I broke up with my ex because she cheated on me and within the next month I thought about you. I decided to come back and see if you felt the same way I did.” Joseph said.

Aw I do feel the same.

“Aw I do feel the same. I couldn’t stop thinking about you either.”

“Good to know.” Joseph said.

He pulls me close and I instantly feel butterflies in my stomach. We are close to kissing each other which I wouldn’t mind. He lifts my chin up and kisses me.

“Ahem.” My mom said. I feel so embarrassed now. We quickly gather ourselves. “Well well I always knew something was going to happen between you two.” My mom said.I blush and he smiles. I finally might have a man.  

This is the end of part 2 and part 3 is going to talk about Joseph and Avannah as well as Khalil, Keisha, Jamaya and two new people :)
