Avannah’s Point of View:
I’m at home watching TV when all of a sudden my phone rings.
“Hello.” I said answering the phone
. “Hey.” Keisha said. I could tell something was wrong by the way her voice was trembling.
“Is everything okay?” I ask.
“No.” Keisha said.
“What did Khalil do?”
“Surprise showed up at his house while I was there.” Keisha said. O
h hell no. I know not. WTf is wrong with Khalil. I feel like beating Surprise ass.
“Oh hell no I’m on my way over.”
“Alright.” Keisha said.
I hang up the phone. I immediately decided to call Khalil to get his side of things.
“Hey Ava.” Khalil said.
“Hey. Why did you choose Surprise over Keisha?”
“What you mean?” Khalil asked confused.
“I mean when Surprise showed up why you didn’t just tell her to leave. What the fuck is wrong with you?”
“Okay you can calm all that down. You know I’m not a cold hearted person so the good in me was like hear her out but I ended up telling her ass off and kicked her out.” Khalil said.
Khalil is a kind person who tries to see the good in people but will quickly tell you off if he has to.
“Oh well Keisha is upset by your choice.”
“I know I’m such an idiot.” Khalil said.
“You’re not an idiot; you just have a kind heart.”
“Yeah but my kindness cause me to maybe lose Keisha.” Khalil said.
“No maybe not.” “I guess.” Khalil said.
“Well I’ll talk to you later.”
“Okay bye.” Khalil said. I end the call with Khalil.
Keisha jumped to conclusion without hearing him out but I would have done the same. I change into my pink tank top, slacks, and Sperry’s. I grab my phone and keys. I lock the door on my way out. I pull off towards Keisha’s house. In less than twenty minute I arrive at Keisha’s house. I get out the car and unlock the door.
We use to be roommates but I decided to move out. I enter the house to find Keisha on the couch crying. I comfort her.
“SSh its okay I know.” I hug her tight.
“I feel so stupid.” Keisha cried out.
“No honey you’re not. You just hurting right now.” I said.
“Why does it hurt so much?” Keisha asked.
“Because maybe you’ve always loved him.” I said.
“True I always have.” Keisha said.
“I know every things going to be okay.”
“You think so?” Keisha asked.
“I know so.”
“Can I ask you something Ava?” Keisha said.
“Sure shoot.”
“Why don’t you have a man?” Keisha asked.
“I don’t have time for stress in my life right now.” I said.
“Oh well we’ve got to find you a man.” Keisha said laughing.
I laugh with her. We talk for at least two hours.
“Are you going to be okay?” I asked.
“Yeah I’ll be fine.” Keisha said.
“Alright you’re still coming to the cookout tomorrow night right.”
“You know it.” Keisha said.
“Alright.” I hug her.
“Thank you.” Keisha said.
“For what?” I asked her.
“For begin such a good friend.” Keisha said.
“No problem you know I’m always here for you.” I said
. “True.” I hugged her once more and headed out.
I hope her and Khalil work things out.
