I slowly rubbed my eyes open as I stared at the blank ceiling. Wait. Where am I? I looked around and realized I was no longer on the couch. I was in the guest room, on the bed. I tried to take in my surroundings as I slowly got of the bed. I flinched at the squeaks the bed caused through the pin-drop silence. I walked towards the living room, being careful of my every step, fearful of shattering the profound silence. I went into the kitchen to grab a glass of water. I reached out for the glass when a familiar voice broke the silence.

"(y/n)?"

My heart pounded in my chest. My hands became sweaty as the glass in my hand slowly slipped away and shattered on the cold floor. The shattered glass was nothing in comparison to my heart which had fallen to the depths of hell. Even though I didn't want to turn around and see the owner of the voice, my heart had taken over my mind a long time ago. I painstakingly turned around. I couldn't see clearly but I saw a tall figure wearing a black cap staring down. I then noticed that it had started to pour. The lightning gave me a glimpse of the figure's face which made me shudder. Those death-like eyes, devoid of all emotions... Chanyeol.

I started to walk towards the door as my pace hastened. Instead of embracing him, I grabbed the collar of his coat and pushed him against the wall as hot tears went down my cheeks. His gaze softened as he looked defeated and full of guilt.

"WHY!? CHANYEOL, WHY? WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO AFTER YOU'VE MADE ME LOSE EVERYTHING. WHY CHANYEOL, WHY DID YOU RETURN? You promised..." I slowly loosened my grip around his now crumpled collar. I fell to the floor feeling weak. I shut my eyes and knelt down. He held my cheeks and wiped the tears with his thumb. I fluttered my eyes open and noticed the bruises on his face and hands. I quickly stood up and helped him up. He was still in shock from my sudden change in reaction.

"I...I..am..s..sorry. I...I..sh...should not have scolded y..you first. You don't know how I felt w..when I saw y..you" I stuttered and looked down.

He held my chin and made me look into his eyes. His hands were cold as ice. I shuddered at his touch. His cold stare returned. My eyes started to wondered elsewhere as I felt his gaze burn in to me.

"Look. At. Me. NOW!" His voice echoed through the rooms. His cap slowly fell down, causing his wet brown hair to fall forward and partially cover his eyes. I looked up as if my life depended on it. His spare hand grabbed my right wrist.

"Don't apologize, It was my fault anyway" I couldn't hear the last part but I was to scared to ask anyway, so I continued to stare into his eyes. His grip around my wrist tightened. I winced in pain as I was expecting bruises around my wrist from the way he held it.

"I'm sorry, I have to do this." He dragged me up the stairs. I was tripping over most of the stairs but it was the least of my concerns. I knew the man holding my hand right know was not the Park Chanyeol I know. Since the moment his cold, bloody hands touched my chin and when his honey like voice dripped with venom, I knew.

We reached the rooftop. I felt the cold water droplets shower on me as the wind rushed through my hair. I was now standing a few feet away from him. I saw him mutter a sorry as walked towards me. I walked backwards with every step, but stopped when I hit the wall. I then saw something shiny in his hand. A knife.

"Ch..Chan...Chanyeol. Wha..what are you d..doing" I stuttered.

"Promises are just sweet lies, (y/n)" I heard him say through the thundering storm.

I quickly shut my eyes and waited for the worst.I suddenly felt a pair of strong and warm arms wrap me and rub my back. I leaned against him and the familiar scent managed to calm me down. I then realized that I was no longer with Chanyeol, but with Baekhyun.

I opened my eyes and realized I was on the couch, in Baekhyun's arms.

It was a dream, but it felt so real.
