(Baekyun POV)

I came out of the van after (y/n). I was looking down only to bump into her. I looked up and saw her staring at the house with her hand over her mouth. She looked like she was about to cry any moment. "Are you okay, babe?". She nodded and started walking. I went up, held her hand and dragged her into the house. It managed to make her smile, but I knew it was fake. I dated her for 2 years, but I didn't know why she was like this. She always told me what was wrong. I was worried.

(y/n POV)

When I saw the house, I flinched. I stood rooted to the ground and the sight had robbed me of my speech.

All the memories. It had to be this house. Why here... why Chanyeol?

It took me what seemed like ages to recover from my stupor. Then I felt someone bump into me. I turned around and I saw Baekhyun. He saw me and his smile faded. I couldn't let him see me like this. He asked me if I was okay and I just nodded as no words came out. I started walking and I felt him grab my wrist and pull me to the house. My heart was telling me not to go, but my legs worked with their own mind. His warm hand managed to creep a smile, but I didn't know how long I could put on this mask.

We entered the house and my hands became sweaty. Nothing had changed. Everything was the same. Tears were killing me to come out but but I had to control them, for him.

I decided to look around to find any clues about Chanyeol, at least that was what we came here for. It was a rather big house. I decided to look up at the attic. I opened the door and was quite surprised how they managed to keep it so neat. I smiled to myself as I remembered running around in this same room, with Chanyeol.

I walked around trying to relive the memories when a photograph caught me off guard. It was a childhood photo of a Chanyeol and a kid with short hair. For some reason it made me angry. My eyes were glued to the picture and then looked away. Gritting my teeth and creasing my eyebrows into a row, I tried to suppress the emotion and the tears rising within me. Soon, the dam of tears within me exploded and it flushed down my pair of red and puffy eyes. I knelt onto the floor clenching the photograph in my hand.

I suddenly felt my vision become blurry. I felt as if I was being suffocated. I couldn't breathe. I fell down with a thud. I last saw Baekhyun rushing up before everything blanked out.
