My legs became weak as my knees brought me to the floor. With only my hands down for support, I stared aimlessly replaying what I heard until the truth sunk in. "He's... gone?!?" I repeated with my voice already shaking and tears demanding to fall.
His hands hesitantly reached for my cheeks as his fingers caressed my cheeks. "Are you...okay?" he asked with his voice cracking. His warm touch managed to break my barrier and let my tears trinkle down my cheeks. I looked up, grabbed his arm which was on my cheeks and fell into his embrace crying like there was no tomorrow.
We stood there in his house wanting to stay in that moment forever. He managed to break the embrace and stare into my now red and swollen eyes with worry, " Are you sure you ca-". I cut him off, " Please don't lea-" He crashed his lips onto mine . I kissed him back not wanting to let go. I eventually managed to break away and look into his dark eyes which anyone could get lost in. He pulled me closer and whispered near my neck,"I will never leave you."
