Chapter Ten: Professor Benedict

Elora promptly stood firm and avoided Raiden's eyes. Both of them felt awkward to each other because of of what happened to them. Raiden can't believe what he felt when he was staring at Elora's eyes. He started to wonder something about his feelings. Kakausapin niya sana si Elora pero agad itong tumalikod at naglakad paalis. Sa ginawang iyon ni Elora ay nakaramdam ng kirot sa puso si Raiden. He just stared at Elora's back until she was gone out of his sight.

Samantalang, nakangisi lamang ang dalawang kaibigan ni Raiden habang pinapanood ang dalawa. They were not naive to notice that Raiden likes Elora. Lumapit si Jackson sakanya at tinapik ang balikat nito.

"Okay lang 'yan, lover boy. Kausapin mo na lang siya bukas."

Raiden shooted lasers with his eyes to Jackson when he heard it. Nainis ito dahil sa sinabi ng kaniyang kaibigan. Pero natawa lamang si Jackson sa ginawa ni Raiden at hindi natakot sa masamang tingin nito.

"Shut up."

Raiden said while his jaw clenched. Naglakad na ito at nauna nang pumunta sa kanilang common rooms. Naiwan at nagkatinginan sina Jackson at Lyon sa isa't isa at hindi nila mapigilan ang tumawa.

"In love na yata ang kaibigan mo, Lyon." Sabi ni Jackson at tinapik ang balikat nito habang naglalakad na sila.

"Well, I guess he should make a move to Elora."

"I hope so. Sana 'di siya pangunahan ng hiya." Jackson laughed so loud that make the other archimages look at him. Pero hindi na lang niya iyon pinansin.

Kinabuksan, Raiden's thoughts were full with his feelings for Elora. Hindi niya maintindihan ang kaniyang nararamdaman para sakaniya. After what happened yesterday night, Raiden just can't help but to think about Elora and her eyes. Para bang kinukulong siya sa mga mata nito. The feeling was new to him but has already a clue for it. He knew that he feels something special about Elora that he never felt with the other girls. Pero hindi pa rin siya sigurado kung iyon nga ang nararamdaman niya. He wanted to deny it since he told to himself that he will never love someone if his dreams aren't still pursued.

It's already their class in Mystique 101 and now they are in a huge library of the school. It was made out of brown bricks but the floor was carpeted and there was a big crystal chandeliers in the center. The ceiling was high, too. They went inside the library since they need to research something about their mystiques, at ito rin ang kanilang gagawin para sa Mystique Mechanism nila.

"Do your reservation well since Professor Helena is expecting you to be excellent later. Remember that our subjects are connected." Professor Xello reminded. After the Supra archimages answered 'yes' in chorus, he went in front of the librarian to record their schedule.

Nakakuha na si Raiden ng tatlong libro tungkol sa kaniyang kapangyarihan sa 'defense section' at pumunta na ito sa lamesa na nasa tabi lang ng shelve na pinagkuhanan niya ng mga libro.

He looked in the book that was on top and it has a title of 'Anything about Force Field.' The cover was in a blue color with a picture of force field in the center, the text were printed in gold. He opened it and went to the table of contents. Nakita niya na nasa pahina lima ang introduction tungkol dito kaya nilipat na niya kaagad ang pahina.

Force Field Generation or also known as Shielding is a very powerful defensive power. It has many capabilities wherein a user can project a force field to protect himself/herself against an offensive mystique. Users are able to throw these shields away to protect or catch other things. But Force Fields could also used as an offensive power and it could be achieved if it is enhanced.
