Chapter Four: Discovering

The next day, Raiden went out again to continue his training with Reiko. Nakasuot na lamang ito ng pambahay kumpara kahapon. They didn't continue their training yesterday since Reiko advised Raiden to gather his courage first before they will continue the training. Raiden spent his night looking at the mirror trying to find the reason for him to be brave enough like what his sister said to him. Alam niya na tama ang sinasabi ng kapatid niya dahil kung papangunahan lang siya ng kaba ay mahuhuli ito at matatalo. And losing was not in his vocabulary.

He wanted to be brave, to be powerful and to be skilled. He wanted to be in the cream of the crop, he doesn't want to be in the last line anymore. He wanted to do something that could make him happy in this life. Kaya gagawin niya ang lahat para lang makapasok sa Bahazar School of Archimage.

"So are you ready?"

Tanong ni Reiko nang maka-puwesto na ulit sila sa likod. Dahan-dahang tumango si Raiden at huminga nang malalim. "What will you try to do this time?" She added.

"I'll try to create a strong force field around me where no object could destroy it, while levitating myself."

Seryosong sabi niya. Napa-angat ang kilay ni Reiko sa sinagot ng kaniyang kapatid. Hindi niya inaakala na iyon ang gustong gawin ni Raiden. Palihim siyang napangiti dahil alam niyang medyo nagbago na rin siya dahil sa kaniyang tindig at sa paraan ng kaniyang pagsagot. Wala kasi itong pag-aalinlangan kung sumagot hindi katulad dati na nangangapa. Nasasabik din siya sa maaaring ipakita ni Raiden ngayon.

Raiden clenched his fist and created the force field around him. It was the same color as yesterday. Ginalaw naman ni Reiko ang kaniyang mga daliri bago pinalipad lahat ng mga bagay na nasa likod ng bahay nila. Sabay-sabay niya iyong pinalipad pero hindi niya muna iyon tinatapon sa direksyon ni Raiden.

He then paced backwards and seconds later, he started to levitate himself. Reiko smirked while raising both of her hands in the air. With full force, she threw all of the objects towards Raiden's direction.

Nakita iyon kaagad ni Raiden kaya lumipad siya sa ibang puwesto para maiwasan ang mga bagay na kinontrol ng kaniyang kapatid. Reiko noticed it that's why she started to control them papunta sa mga direksyon na pinupuntahan ni Raiden. Natamaan ng force field niya ang isang garbage can, sumabay din doon ang pagtama ng isang upuan at lamesa. Pero pinipilit pa rin ni Raiden na palakasin ang kaniyang force field para hindi iyon madaling masira.

Reiko even enjoyed what they were doing since Raiden was starting to be strong enough for her. Patuloy lamang siya sa pagtapon ng mga bagay na nakikita niya at tinatapon iyon kay Raiden. While her brother keeps on avoiding all the objects since he can levitate himself by the power of the force field. Hindi iyon nasisira kahit anong bagay ang kontrolin ni Reiko. Well, Raiden kept his focus on making it stronger para hindi na maulit ang mangyari kahapon.

But Reiko being the aggressive, she then again controlled the car and moved it to Raiden's direction. Medyo nagulat pa siya sa ginawa ng kapatid niya but when he recovered fastly from being stunned, he immediately controlled his force field making it stronger so that the car won't destroy it. Seconds later, the car met his force field but a winning smile was plastered in Raiden's face when the car didn't wreck his force field.

But he promptly notice that the car was going to fall down to their house. Napansin din iyon ni Reiko kaya nagulat siya at napatigil. But Raiden just threw another force field from his free hand and motioned it towards their house. Hindi inakala ni Raiden na magagawa niya iyon, na kaya niyang gumawa ng isang force field para sa ibang bagay. Napanganga si Reiko sa nakita niya, pero dali-dali rin niyang kinontrol ang kotse na pabagsak at  pinunta sa tabi niya. Napangiti si Raiden dahil may nagawa siyang bago ngayong araw. Bumaba na siya at pinaglaho ang dalawang force fields na ginawa niya nang makatapak na siya sa lupa.
