For; Shantell Lawless
I see you from a distance,
in most cases; not so much
up close; so I don't see reason
behind your ill choice
but from those meters inclined
moments
I see a smile as bright as day
and hair to bounce around
laughter, an expression
to blow any boy's mind away
and yet I believe you are unaware
of the star you truly are
and compare your self to others
which you bypass by far
Your heart is solid gold,
Its visible in your eyes,
a soul beautiful, yet hidden
you have no idea of
how special people know you are.
