XVIII- Kenneth

I stood still. I cannot move my body. 

"Tama na yan, Kent. You're scaring Cara." Pagbasag ni Kenneth sa katahimikan. Medyo lumayo na siya sakin pero nakahawak pa rin sa baywang ko. His grip was gentle, but it was also screaming out "mine." from every angle.

Kent chuckled and he's back to his playful self again.

"I'm just playin', Kenneth. Why so serious?"

Finally, lumayo na siya sa akin. I gave out the breath I didn't know I was holding.

"Don't jerk around, dude. Remember she's mine for today." Kenneth said in a monotone.

Stupid bastards fooling around like I'm some kind of thing to be passed  on. Damn it! I'm no one's possesion!

"Okay, okay, cool lang! Enjoy your date!" Kent said, without a hint of sarcasm or anything. Then the both of them fist bumped.

Seriously! What's wrong with these two!? Diba dapat kung may karibal ka sa taong mahal mo, eh hindi kayo nagkakasundo? Seriously?

Kent then walked away after that.

"So, you ready for our adventure today?" Hindi ko alam kung command yun or tanong since walang hint ng excitement or pagtatanong or anything sa boses ni Kenneth. He is so dull. Pero I prefer his company than Kent. Tuwing andiyan si Kent hindi ko maintindihan yung init na nararamdaman ko. Lalo na kapag sobrang lapit niya sa akin. Para akong nasa sauna.

Hindi ako sumagot. Hinigit niya lang ako papunta sa... isang sasak-- whooa! Is this his car?!

Napatigil ako sa harapan ng isang Black matte audi R8. Seryoso?

"Oh bakit?" He asked, still with his poker face on.

"Anong ginagawa natin sa harapan ng Audi na to?" I asked bluntly.

He smirked. "This Audi R8 is mine. So would you do me a favor and get inside so we can start our thrilling and exciting adventure for this day?"

I shrugged as he opened the door. At least he was a gentleman enough to open the door for me.

The car smells like... like Kenneth. His mint aroma can be smelled from the inside of the car. Kaya naman malalaman mo agad na sa kanya yung sasakyan.

 He got in he driver's seat and looked at me.

"You excited?"

I swear baka masuka na lang ako pagkalabas ko ng sasakyan na 'to. Sobrang tulin magpatakbo ni Kenneth, akala mo nasa race. Tapos kanina, he drifted the car for crying out loud! I felt all the blood in my body go down to my feet. At parang natuwa pa siya nang makita niyang ganun yung itsura ko!

We're still on the road to I don't know where. Nawala na sa isip ko na may pasok nga pala ako ngayon at nag-cut classes ako dahil dito sa lalaking 'to.

"San ba kasi tayo pupunta?" I asked with a hint of irritation in my voice.

"Biyaheng langit." Tipid niyang sagot saka siya ngumiti sa akin ng nakakaloko. I felt my face heat up.

"Shut up, jerk! Saan nga ba kasi?! At isa pa, kung wala kang balak na sabihin sakin, ibalik mo na lang ako ng school. May klase ako!" I protested.

He just shrugged. "Chill, Cara. You can calm down when you're with me. Mas kontrolado ko hormones ko kaysa kay Kent. You need not worry."

Hindi ko alam kung dapat ba akong matuwa sa sinabi niya. I remained quiet.

"Malapit na tayo sa destination natin. Be patient. At saka isa pa, may emergency meeting ang buong department ng HRM and Tourism. School Fest is coming soon, maybe they're getting ready. Kaya wag kang mag-alala. Wala tayong klase ngayon."
