She rolls them out, I pinch the dough together, and Suki places them on the tray.
I think back to yesterday

"What do we have to do, ann'e?" Suki had asked, confused.
"I got a call a few days ago, it was from Aoi."
The very air seemed to still. As if it too, was holding it's breath.
"She's no longer with him,
not after what he did.
And I think, maybe, it was the shock that f i n a l l y opened her eyes,but she. . .
a p o l o g i z e d."
Suki and I exchanged shocked glances, strangely wary about the sudden apology.
"She said she wanted to say sorry to you two,
but she knows that it might be for the bestfor her to keep her space, for now.
But. . .
You have your siblings, still. And we both agreed that maybe, if you'd like,
it would be nice if you saw each other
once again."
a.n. woop, woop, you didn't think I'd forget about Zeira, Miria and Joeas, did you? There's a seven year difference between Zeira and Harmony, so if our beloved MC is fourteen-ish right now, her half sister is seven. Miria is six, Joeas is five and dearest Suki is eleven.
