Underlined bit is a Flashback (flashback within a flashback haha![sorry I'm so tired right now]) but not very long :)

Well. I guess I've upgraded.

I've gone from being locked in Princey's room...

to being locked in a room with Prince.

The idiot was so desperate to get out my room, he made a reckless deal with Patton.

And before I say anything - it's not paranoia, if you use it.

A while back I set up a security system - I figured someone would try to sneak into my room eventually, as a dare or something. So I set up my sound system so it would make the room seem to whisper to any intruder.

No doubt that's why Prince was freakin out so much.

But I'm so glad because then I got offered to leave that forsaken place Prince calls him bedroom.

Its just so...

...so bright.

Patton wasn't going to go through with it - he was already feeling so guilty about the whole thing, and it would have only been a matter of time before he caved.

In fact, Patton had a whole conversation with me about it while we were on one of our mandatory-to-prevent-complete-corruption walks.

"I - I dunno, Anxiety. Do you think I was a little harsh?" Patton asked, twisting his hands together anxiously.

His were flicking left and right and I knew he was doubting himself like all parents do when it comes to discipline.

I shrugged in response. "He deserved it. He broke into my room, Patton," I reminded him.

"Well, yeah," Patton continued. "But do you really think he deserves it? You're not just saying that because you're upset?"

I mean, I am upset, I thought bitterly. I have had a stranger in my room for the past twenty-four hours. What do you think I'm just okay with that?

"Despite popular belief - I don't have much of a temper," I said instead. "I have my headphones - yeah I'm still not thrilled by Prince breaking into my room, but I don't think that's really unjustified, now isn't?"

I glanced once more about the room we were locked in. Big, heavy door, a couch, and a small white coffee table. We were only gonna be here for another hour or so. We didn't need much.

My eyes drifted to the what object on the coffee table - something I couldn't help staring at.

It was a simple clear mason jar.

And inside were Princey's powers.

There was a black ring of fire (it doesn't burn) surrounding it - a little addition that Logan had added to the plan. If something bad starts to happen, only I can release Prince's powers. He can't touch it. He must rely on me.

And if I do a bad job, then Princey has my music - all my music - as collateral.

Its like this big annoying trust exercise.

But whatever it takes to get my room back.

I had my headphones on, but Patton stole my music, leaving the empty shell behind. I didn't mind as much as I would have thought I would, moreso happy to have my headphones themselves back in my hands.
