"No it's okay. You're fine." I explain to him, and he looks at me sympathetically and gently takes my hand.
"I hope you know I'm always here Gabby." I smile softly at him and I nod.
"I know."

Nash's POV
I pace back and forth in my living room, trying to shake her off my mind. If I can find any excuse to see her...She's doing so good. I don't want to mess anything up for her.
I look at the time on my phone and its late in the evening.
8:30.

Gabby's POV
"Thanks for taking me home" I smile over at Kade as he turns onto my street.
"Anytime, thanks for joining me for dinner." He takes my hand, and I give him a small smile.
"Sorry, I would've stayed longer, but I'm just not feeling that great." I explain and he shakes his head.
"No worries, I still enjoyed it." He says assurringly, as he pulls into my drive way and Kade gives me a kiss on the cheek.
I give him a kiss on the cheek as well, before saying a goodbye and thanking him for tonight.
"Anytime, I'll text you." He replies as I get out of his car.
"Let me know when you've made it home okay." I smile as I shut the car door and he nods.
--
I come through the front door and sigh, and before I know it Jess is bombarding me with questions.
"How did it go? Anything happen?" She asks desperate, sliding past her and throwing my jacket and keys onto the couch before plopping backwards onto the large chair in my living room.
"Uhm hello?! I am talking to you." Jess urges me.
Before replying I take a deep sigh and roll my eyes.
"I'm thinking I should break up with Kade." I say with a cringe.
"What? Why?!" Jess' eyes grow wide.
"There's just...there's no—spark. Not anymore at least. He's such a good guy." I put my hand on my forehead frustrated as to why my feelings for Kade have faded so quickly.
"Exactly, he's a good guy who will take care of you. That's what you need."
"Yeah but, not what I want. He's sexy and charming and—sweet and kind. He cares. And I feel like I can actually talk to him." I confess.
"So—"
"But there's no spark. Nothing." I groan and throw a pillow over my face before screaming into it.
"How about a girl's night huh?" She suggests and I scoff.
"Wait...that actually kinda seems...nice" I consider her idea.
