Running up to my room I shut the door and slid down my wall.

My parents were fighting again.

Pulling out my phone I texted Shawn.

My Parents are fighting again. I can't take it anymore. Can I come to your house?

Of course you can always come over baby. You don't have to ask :)

Ok.

Getting up I walked over to my closet and pulled out one of my backpacks. Grabbing some clothes I shoved them into it and left my room. Still hearing my parents yelling from the kitchen I slipped on my shoes and left the house.

Getting into my car I started driving towards Shawn's house.

Getting there I grabbed my backpack and locked my car. Walking up the sidewalk to his front door, I looked in the front window. His family looked so happy. Knocking on the door I waited.

"Y/N! What are you doing here? I didn't know you were on your way! Come on in" Shawn's mom said.

I followed her in the house and tried to hold back the tears. Shawn came around the corner and looked at me. That's when I lost it.

"hey, hey Y/N it's going to be ok. We're going to figure this out for you I promise" He said while pulling me into a hug.

I wrapped my arms around him and buried my head into his chest.

Shawn's P.O.V

When Y/N hugged me back I looked at my mom and she mouthed is she ok. I shook my head and my mom nodded.

Watching her walk away into the kitchen I pulled back and looked at Y/N.

"Do you want to go put your things upstairs and we can just watch a movie tonight?" I asked her.

"Sure"

She grabbed her backpack and purse and followed me up the stairs towards my room. I opened my closet and pulled out a hoodie and passed it to her.

"thanks" she said.

Putting her bags down she grabbed the hoodie and pulled it over her head and crawled into my bed. Patting the spot next to her I crawled in and pulled her close to me.

"so did you have any movie in mind? Because I have a few!" she told me.

"ok which ones did you have in mind? I can't think of any"

"well it is october! Scary movie 4?" she asked.

"sure!"

All of a sudden we heard knocking on the door.

"come in"

My mom walked in with a tray. She had 2 mugs and a bowl of popcorn.

"wow! Thank-you so much" Y/N said.

"Your Welcome Y/N! Also I hope you know you can stay as long as you like to! Your part of our family now"

"Thanks!"

"thanks mom!" I said.

She smiled and left the room.

We started the movie and pulled Y/N closer to me. We spent most of the night just watching movies and enjoying having each other.
