R: *kisses M's shoulder as they lie on their side on the bed with him spooning her, smiles* I love you.

M: *sighs dreamily* I love you more.

R: Love, gising na.

M: *groans and pulls his arm to hold her tighter* Love, antok pa ako.

R: Sino ba dapat may jet lag? Ikaw o ako?

M: Wag mo akong dramahan. You have the sleepless hyperactive jet lag.

R: *grins as he continues to plant kisses on her shoulder* Totoo yan but you still need to wake up. Biyahe tayo pa-Baguio today plus your phone has been ringing for the past thirty minutes.

M: Wha... Uhm... *listens for her phone  but doesn't hear it* Love, let me sleep. Buntis ako.

R: *chuckles* Paano nangyari yun? Kahapon lang hindi ka buntis ah.

M: Stop making fun of me. It's your fault. Three rounds last night and my whole body hurts. I don't think I can get out of bed. *pouts*

R: *chuckles* I'm sorry, Love. Na-miss kita eh. Although I really wish nabuntis ka kagabi, we won't know for a few more weeks and right now, tumatawag na ulit si Ate Pat.

M: *twists suddenly to face him* Kanina pa siya tumatawag? Bakit di mo sinagot?

R: Dapat ba alam niya na magkasama tayo?

M: Hindi nga pala. Anong oras na ba?

R:10:30.

M: 10:30!!! *jolts up and looks for her phone* Lagot nasa condo ni Dean yun dapat nandun na ako 2 hours ago ready to leave for Baguio. Kasalanan mo talaga to! *hits R's arm* Nasaan na yung phone ko?!

R: Bakit ba ang init ng ulo mo sa akin? Kanina lang ang lambing lambing nung ang ulo ko ang mainit para sa'yo. *smirks*

M: *throws a pillow at him and chuckles* Wag mo akong harutin. Hanapin mo yung phone ko!

R: Eto na. *hands M his phone which he finds under the bed* Ang likot mo kasi kagabi. *grins*

M: *rolls her eyes at him and sticks her tongue out then answers the call* Hello, Ate Pat?

R: *laughs at how his wife is trying to mask both the panic and giddiness in her voice, sits behind her making her settle between his legs and wraps their naked bodies with a blanket to warm her up and stop her shivering*

M: Sorry po. Wala po kasi ako diyan. Kagigising ko lang. Alam ko po. Okay po. Si RJ?

R: Hi Ate Pat. Aray! *yelps as M's elbow hits his side*

M: Okay. Ayan na. *puts the call on speaker*

DP (on speaker): Kayong dalawa, hindi ko alam kung hanggang kailan niyo susubukin ang swerte niyo eh. Mahuhuli kayo sa mga kalokohan niyong ganyan. Paano kung hindi ako ang pinasundo kay Meng at makita na wala siya sa lumang condo?

M: Sasabihin mo na nasundo mo na ako?

DP: Alam mo yan eh noh? Alam mo na pagtatakpan ko kayo hanggang kaya.

R: Love mo kami eh.

DP: *sighs* Wag abusado.

M: Te Pat. Sorry na. Habol na lang ako. Saan ko kayo puntahan?

DP: Ano pa nga ba? Nakaalis na kami. Kanina pa. Nasa Pampanga na kami. Tumuloy ka na ng Baguio kasama yang jowa mo pero wag kayong didiretso sa venue, susunduin ka namin sa labas. Te-text ko kung saan.

M: Thanks, Ate Pat.

R: Thank you, Direk. Labyu!

DP: Tse! Good luck sa inyo. Galingan niyo pag puslit kundi lahat tayo dito lagot. Bye!

R&M: Bye, Te Pat. *ends call*

M: Mage-eleven na! We have to be in the venue in 6 hours. Maliligo na ako. *jumps out of bed and winces when she almost twists her ankle* Aray.

R: Ingat kasi. *chuckles as he holds her arm* Halika. Samahan kita sa shower. Liliguan pa kita.

M: *giggles* Ano ba? Tatagal lalo.

R: Hindi kaya. Mabilis akong kumilos. *wraps his arms around her waist*

M: *laughs* Baliw. *hits his belly with her elbow* Pagod pa nga ako.

R: Sabi nila parang hangover daw yan dapat sinusundan para mawala. *wiggles his eyebrows*

M: Sino na namang nagsabi niyan?

R: Ako. Kasasabi ko lang. *grins* Halika na. Baka ma-traffic tayo sa EDSA ma-late tayo lalo. *carries M to the bathroom before she can even protest*

M: *giggles and sighs as he kisses her lips* 💛🍃
