"I think we can all agree it has been a great year here at LSOA. First years, I hope you enjoyed it here. Second years, you're nearly officially the oldest students! And third years, I hope you find a good place in life."
I smiled, despite who it was speaking. A lot of the students cheered, and I guess they would be the third years.
"I'd like to give a big thanks to our Prefects. Without them, I'm sure this school would be a lot worse off."
The crowd laughed, and so did I, tears pricking at my eyes. I knew what was coming next.
"But unfortunately, we have to let go of such amazing people."
I smiled shakily, and looked down to the floor. Storm, stood behind me, took my hand in his and whispered something to me.
"I'm not leaving yet, don't you worry. I'll stay as an assistant teacher if I have to."
"Now, I want to keep this brief, the weather forecast predicted rain. Concerning the holidays, you may stay in your apartments if you like, but you will be required to sign your name on the sheet now coming round."
I made a mental note to sign the next piece of paper I was given. It would be too strange to go back to a life I knew was fake.
"But if you like, you can go home. Now, before it rains-"
We all yelled in celebration with him, me with a few tears in my eyes.
"School's out!"
