"I'm not sure what happened... he just fainted." I told my father.

"Moana, I don't think he just fainted if he was fine before... did you say anything to him?" He looked at me.

We were standing outside of the hut where the guy - I've nicknamed him green eyes - had fainted in. Green eyes had been down for nearly an hour now and I've told the paramedic to convince everyone he was just taking a rest before any chaos occurred. The sun was already dipping down below the seas and the book I clutched between my hands were starting to get sweaty.

"He said he was a demigod, father." I turned to him, leaning my side onto the outside walls of the hut. "I told him about Maui then he just- he just- fell."

"A demigod?" He frowned. "Did he say his parentage?"

"No. I didn't even get his name." I told him. "I'll stay with him- wait until he wakes up. Go to bed." He raised an eyebrow at me. "I'll be fine."

After a few seconds of pondering silence, he gave me a firm nod and a kiss to the temple and walked off below the palm trees and into the house that we lived in now. I debated whether I needed to go in there or not, or if I should just wait outside but something else caught my eye through the leafy doors.

The fishermen had moved his backpack next to him, giving back his stuff on my command. I bit my lip. Should I take a peek...?

He's been knocked out for the past hour, I'm sure a five minute check won't hurt.

With my mind made up, I turned to look side to side to see if anyone was watching - not that it mattered, of course. But either way, I carefully pushed the few palm leaves to the side and entered his room only occupied by the man on the sheets and a side table.

I tiptoed next to his head, careful not to make a sound. Everything was going fine so far. I pressed a hand on my lips as if that would help the sound of the zipper ripping open dissapear. As soon as it reached the other side of the bag, and the insides were wide open, my head snapped to his eyes.

I let a breath of relief when I see he is still snoring and let my hand rest on the book instead of gripping it harshly.

The edges of my fingertips entered the bag...

Feeling, searching, for something interesting. That's when I felt a rough piece of paper come in contact with the pads of my fingers. I knew he was something related to the papers. I reached out a little more.

So close...

Just there...

"Moana?"

My eyes snapped to his green eyes, my hands retreating to behind my back along with the book. I stood up straight and smiled at him. "You feeling better?"

"Yeah... just- just... tired." He yawned, pressing his arm to his eyes.

It was then I realised how dark his hair really was, the raven black mess that rested on his head moved as he ran his fingers through it.

"Are you okay now?" I asked him.

"Yeah... I just need to go back home. Sorry if I was too rough or anything I was just a little shocked that's all."

I smiled at his sincerity, moving away from him slightly only to peek outside the curtained room to see if anyone was listening. When I was sure they weren't, I turned to him once again only to see him standing up with his hands above his head, stretching.

"It's okay. What's your name?" I asked.

He bit the insides of his cheek as he let his hands drop. After a few minutes of silence, he looked back at me. "Percy Jackson."
